i have been buying aghs after force staff .. the stats + hp + mana is nice and the low cd ult is pretty nice
so i should build orchid/mjolnir first before going aghs ? i see .. but if we already have 2-3 damage dealers in the team .. like a tri-core lineup .. can i go aghs first ? i really like the low cd ult haha Agha isn't really strong until you already have damage items (it's basically a % multiplier on your DPS meaning that you need to have DPS already for the multiplier to be worth a lot) and even then it's often really hard to justify the slot in comparison to other things (you need MKB against evasion, usually need Sheep because your team needs to carry one, it's really rough overall for your team if you have to sell Mek, and often you need sustainability from either Heart or Satanic).
Also note how the strength of the Agha ulti increases with ranks, and requires considerable mana to sustain multiple uses (even after the mana cost buff a few patches ago).
Honestly in 90% of games, you're going to need to get Sheepstick right after Force Staff just because of how impactful Sheepstick is generally on the game. In most cases there isn't a damage item that will give you higher impact than having Sheep will.
Usually the damage item transition for WR only works if you have a good solo tempo (e.g. you have a lot of kills and a level advantage). Orchid works here simply because it allows you to create solo kill pressure, but this is largely dependent on you getting so farmed that you can finish Mek+Orchid (usually delaying or skipping Force Staff) before enemy cores have BKBs. She's not a hero that can haphazardly go damage because damage items don't give her game-changing impact unless you have multiple damage items and an overall item advantage.

Even if someone else can make Mek, Windrunner is almost always the best person to do so when she's picked unless the alternative carrier is a jungler like Chen.
It's very rare for there to be a "better" Mek carrier than Windrunner in a given game. This is largely because of how reliably she can get one because of how comfortable Powershot makes catch-up farm once you have level 7. Even if you can't farm lanes, you can double-Powershot stacked camps and get a Mek on time.

the new buriza sound is kinda annoying late game on agil heroes

You mentioned feeling like you had a hard time feeling impactful in fights, this is honestly probably why. Windrunner's later-game fighting strength comes in large part from the fact that she has the flexibility to buy almost any team item in the game for her team without sacrificing her personal tempo because of how easy it is for her to adapt to the game. If you're not utilizing this and going selfish items where it's not appropriate, it will be very easy to feel like you're not contributing anything because you aren't.

I'm not really sure other than that since I'd have to see the game. Brewmaster is probably also a better mid than Dusa, although I'm not sure vs. SF
Should I have farmed Blink before armlet? Because my progression was armlet->blink->bkb, which I thought was a good path.

I'm playing WK and I tell my supports to go gank the mid sf, and they either just refuse to do so or decide it's better to join the brawl at top lane. Meanwhile SF is farming vs dusa(it was random draft and there weren't any other mid heroes, seriously it was shit like AM and brewmaster in the pool).
So, I'm having a tough time deciding whether to continue to farm or to go gank mid myself. I decided to farm armlet but buy that time the fights have gotten so frequent that I'm forced to fight, as well as the enemy SF. Obviously, he was fat and crushed us over and over.
What should I have done in that situation? Should I have ganked mid since the supports didn't want to do that, or should I have farmed only an armlet and then gank? It was hard to tell in that situation.
Also, how legit is Shadowblade on PA? A couple of people have been advocating things like drums, sny, helm first, etc in order to make her more of a midgame carry than a late game one. Should SB be considered as one of those items? I was thinking she could really pop a squishy support with it, plus it gives her damage and attack speed, 2 things she really wants. brewmaster is amazing wtf
Vs SF? Really? I'm not trying to be condescending, legit I'm curious how.
On May 09 2014 12:15 TheYango wrote: Lothar's can fit certain games, but the two main things are that typically PA doesn't have trouble engaging fights, and usually PA wants a more damage-focused first item due to her high Agi growth and large attack speed boost from Blink Strike. Most of her first few damage items are typically damage-heavy rather than attack speed-heavy.
In my experiences with playing PA her attack speed boost from her blink tends to fall just a bit short of what she needs to ensure a kill via crit. IMO other than sticking to targets that's her biggest weakness. Hence why I was considering things like Shadowblade, among things like duffisal and skadi. Hell its dota man experimenting is part of the game haha

SF can farm comfortably, but he's a 100% guaranteed solo kill at level 6.

blink should be bought after treads w/ or w/o casual bracer. that initiation can win you team fights as you eat most of the nuke upon blinking in, not to mention wk's right click is also decent that he commands attention

Is it a good idea to just skip level 1 reaper's scythe on necro until level 10? The spell is REALLY bad at early levels, it will most likely do less damage than a single pulse, costs a lot of mana, is a long ass cooldown, so you might as well get an extra point into sadist/aura/stats. On the other hand, it's a 1.5s magic immune piercing stun (but nobody should really have bkb when you're level 6) and it will assure you getting a lasthit on a kill in a teamfight, which is huge, because you get that nice sadist regen, etc. Any thoughts? Did anyone experiment with this?

What boots do people go these days on her. I have an itching feeling to play some dota while stuck at work today. I'd obviously have to play my favorite ginger if I do play but as you know it's been what 8 months since I last played lol.

That Centaur set is just absolutely stupid. Why do you need so much armor on your fucking tail?

You still want phaseboots most of the time, it's just too good for laning. If you're position 4/5 wind, you probably want arcanes, or just stick with brown boots and get some other stuff if you can't afford them.
