Its the interaction thats important for many purposes to make money somewhere. Although you can question if flamechat is the right interaction you would want on your platform. It doesnt grant much anyway, and it doesnt feel like im interacting with anyone, only extreme bandwithconsumption. I remember someone posting that its a large portion of their total bandwith usage too.
I think that if there would ever be an mlg player/platform, which is really good btw. They should make more polls and less chats. Would be funny if the viewers could decide what hero they play, what strategy is implemented, what add is the best on twitch etcetcetc. Real interaction, less chatz

Yes it does block it.
Since you mentioned it, the right thread would be the "Simple questions Simple answeres" thread from the strategy section although you can also check the dota2 wiki for BKB/Linkens interactions of everything.

why edit? I was curious what happened as well. I certainly don't think hvost is a hacker, his performance on LAN is generally better than online. That was odd though. I imagine it was a replay issue than a hack, vision, particles and just about everything else can be wonky in replays, especially if you rewind/fast forward etc., Na'Vi may have very well had vision in that area even though it was dark. I'd like to watch the video again but I can't find it after you edited lol. Oh well. :D
edit; I've actually never read of a working dota 2 map hack. I've heard of cooldown and item hacks though that circumvent the notifications only your team is supposed to receive.

Thats incepted valve propaganda. If its a game its hackable somehow.
Yeah the hacks available are CD/Mana hacks (because that information is available to the client) as well as projectile vision hacks (because that info is also apparently available to the client). Which are soooooo irrelevant but technically hacks sure.
You still can't maphack dota2 lol. Server-side games don't have to be hackable.
