I'm not sure about that. The slow is really good even so, and the damage is nice as well. What I think this does most is force people to give up on those Radiance builds. Far too easy to kill him like that. Treads/Drums only. He might still be quite the carry like that.
People actually build radiace on TB? I can see getting 1 point into slow and delaying illusions by a while, similar to PL as a viable choice, although it won't make you have 300 cs by 20 min.
I've one seen like one terrorblade build radiance out of 40 games or so. Sure the slow is good, but saccing +8/+8/+8 for the slow, which at level 4 will be what the level 1 slow is now, will not be worth it at all. He gets way too much from stats, and currently the slow mostly serves its purpose in the laning phase (where it will be quite weak next patch.)
I must say I really feel like I could play the hero entirely without the slow. Maybe he'll be jungling next patch, but he feels extremely fragile in the jungle (much like Doom.)
I probably will still be going for an early point in Reflection without putting more points in it till much later in the game. Sure I won't be able to be as aggressive as before early game but other than that the hero hasn't been changed much.

Rank 4 is not what rank 1 is now, Rank 4 will be what rank 4 is now. Lategame you're still getting a 70% damage illusion of an enemy that's up more than half the time, which is supremely powerful against any enemy that has to get in melee range to fight you, even if they can BKB off the slow.
People fixate on the slow, but lategame, a ton of the value is that you're basically forcing an enemy carry to fight their own DPS because of the 70% damage invulnerable illusion. The skill's losing early game strength, but it'd be foolish to give that up lategame.
elohell is real for smurfs in some sense because of the amount of toxic people who think they're better than the rest of their team, plus low count games have a high chance of abandons, but its not hard to climb out of it.
anyone remember that game where Shaker went top with another offlaners blocking creeps for like 10 waves? It was a pretty lame strategy but it was funny as hell.
it is probably like 1/2 years old
and shaker team was radiant, and the enemy team had a dark seer
