whenever I play the hero I just have minimal impact despite trying to be a ganker 1. Get levels in lane and try not to feed. If you can, run up to Jinada creeps every so often, so you can farm boots, maybe as much as Phase+Bottle. 2. Even if you don't get all these, once you hit 6 or 7 start lurking around a lane where you can potentially get a track kill. Stay there, invisible, until they get into a good position. Then track+run up and kill. Be prepared to use a lot of help from your team, unless you had a really amazing early game. 3. Keep a TP scroll on you at all times, and never ever show up on their map if you can help it. Go around looking for kills, and make sure to be there at any big engagement. Track gold is huge. 4. Build into bigger items with your Track gold, especially BKB if they decide to 5man. Make certain to prevent them from roaming around on the map as they please. Check their inventories for detection all the time, and try to keep at least one of them Tracked at all times. Scout their jungle if it's safe. Scouting Rosh is a bad idea if they're at all good at the game. Try not to feed and force them to play scared so your team can pull ahead in farm. I think that covers everything? Also, make sure to check out Shuriken's wonky scaling, and take note of the fact that the second level in Windwalk is really good. Jinada max first is generally a good idea, because it don't cost nothin' in terms of mana. sweet, thanks for the guidelines!

Lol, I won last game => lost points and get placed in low priority nice, this feel so good, especially when I'm on a losing streak. I know that whatever I do I will just lose in the end.
I'm raging a bit.

I agree with everything but the Jinada max, this is the last thing I max because really the slow is the best part and that does not change from lvl 1. It is better to get 4 1 4 than anything else IMO The cooldown decreases giving you more slow uptime. That is a pretty dumb reason. A second point in shadow walk so the duration is longer than the cooldown I can understand, but if you want to talk about more points doing nothing...
I can see you doing the cool down for more slow but if you max shadowwalk you are getting 120 bonus dmg with 125% boost in Jinata vs a lvl 2 shadowwalk which is 60dmg with a 225% boost you actually get a bigger burst with the 4-1-4 than a x-4-2
The cool down is a good point though, but the extra points in shadowalk add a ton of burst on a BH for solo kills

depends on how the lane is
if you are mostly 1v1 a melee carry jinada max actually lets you win the lane in a lot of situations if you're getting zoned out really bad it might be worth it to get 2 points in shadow walk early so you can hang out in the forest longer and leech xp
generally though I run 4-1-1-1 to 4-1-2-1 to 4-4-2-2

The backstab damage does not get the jinada multiplier.

are you sure? Then I have been wrong about BH this whole time! I still think sheri toss is a better max however

If its a 1v3 lane and you are getting zoned out quite a bit I like maxing shuri toss, 4-1-1 and getting a second point in ww before maxing Jinada for the uptime.
Maxing Jinada is good if its a 1v1 lane tho or a 2-4-2-1 in a dual lane.

Sometimes you should put a 2nd point into Invis to stay perma invis (With lvl 1 that is not possible). I saw some pros do that lately (Tri lane or "roaming" that is I guess, and it gives you +30 Bonus dmg out of Swalk)

max ur shuriken first, sometimes extra levels of w or e depending on lane it's less mana efficient but it's also your safest and most reliable source of damage

Yes; there was a bug that used to add it (back when shadowblade was popular on bounty hunter because the backstab critting was extremely efficient). That got fixed ages ago though.

The bug never multiplied the Windwalk bonus with Jinada, but did it to Shadowblade's damage. So not quite but close.

My high level friends told me I was an idiot for getting Shadowblade on BH. Then I showed them dem' crits.

You should never max jinada in lane. Only 2 points max in a 1v1. You should be leaving the lane at 6 or 7 max and having 3+ points in the skill means you are shittier at ganking, which is the point of that hero.
