I'd love to here alternatives that don't sound stupid...opening a thesaurus doesn't make things sound magically better. In fact...it usually sounds like you opened a thesaurus. There's a reason why 90% of all hockey goals are "He shoots, he scores!"

Of course you comment on the typo, and not that I want sound on a forum.

but seriously it can be annoying to hear some casters keep using the same word again and again. 'connect' irritated me so much. 'ohhhh shit the arrow gets him!!', 'ohboy he ate that arrow' 'it looks like sing made him walk into his arrow lol' 'fcking. unreal. arrow.' 'DAT ARROW' you dont need a dictionary to be a good caster. like, what the hell, they used 'connect' on Sandking's stun. I can't imagine how that burrowstrike 'connects' to its victim/s.

Since you fancy this type of conversation, it is my duty to remind you that he will be always a step ahead of you simply for the fact that, believe it or not, he doesn't really care.

Those all sound horrible... But it's all going to be some variation of "[Skill name] hits/connects" or "[SKILL NAAAAAAAAAAAAAME]".

A dota match is pretty far from a coin imo. Thats probably just because Ziyori just repeats whatever Merlini says, usually immediately after he says it.

A dota match is pretty far from a coin imo. Oof, that's bad. Referring to the pros and cons of one team, sure. Talking about what one team and then the other brings to the table (making the "coin" the prediction of how the game will play out), sure. But just both teams? No. On March 22 2014 08:56 WolfintheSheep wrote: I've noticed Merlini likes to ignore the bans during the draft. Then criticizes a team during the game for not picking a banned hero. He does that in his games too, along with ignoring the chat and occasionally logic itself. He still hasn't reached ixmike88 levels of pure oblivion as to the drafting phase, though. Does make for good watching, though.

"Under Cover of XXXXX" "Phenomenal XXXXX" "Rattling their sabres" "Caught out" etc. It really annoys the shit out of me. Some people will even use the same term to describe multiple different things in a given fight! Ugh, it's like my biggest pet peeve.
