And the best thing about my question and the discussion it sparked was that I didn't get an answer haha.

I'd like to help you, but I'm not sure myself. I would guess it does work on magic immune, but it's just a guess.

edit: Also, the OP of this thread doesn't say anything about not asking questions. But it does have a rant about the term "moba", so there's that.

What competitive game isn't multiplayer, online, and takes on some sort of battle? The first three words apply to nearly every single online game that pits players against each other. The fourth word, arena, doesn't even describe the DotA genre. Using that word implies an all-hostile area that dismisses territorial control and lane-pushing in DotA. Even RTSRPG or ActionRTS would be better (yet still lacking) acronyms. If anything, use DotA as a genre of its own. Please help stop the widespread use of the vague and misleading term MOBA!

When Dreamleague did the rosters just a moment ago, Dog was listed as Misery, Smulgullig, Pajkatt, Fogged and MSS.

Edit: And now that the game has started, Demon has replaced MSS. So just some of that #productionvalue from the GD Studio. And Lumi is doing an analysis of what heroes MSS plays. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THE PLAYERS ARE RIGHT NOW.

Hint: Liquipedia spells out the answer more explicitly.

Indeed it does, I am just not in habit of using liquipedia as it's usually faster to navigate to the dota2wiki (which ranks it out higher on the google search).

And I just didn't find the subpage for forge spirit, cus I assumed it'd say when looking at the spell (and not the unit data).

Until a few days ago Liquipedia still didn't have Bloodseeker's ultimate listed as going through magic immunity. I wanted to get going on redoing that whole page, but god, I don't have the motivation to go through all that.

As such I don't really 100% trust liquipedia for mechanical questions.
