it seems theres still quite a few bugs in ability draft, for example vipers orb can be shot at 600 range by melees

Mirror images also don't get any of the abilities a hero has for some reason. Picked naga illusions and manta style with luna glaives. Illusions didn't get glaives.

Is there an official news what Valve changed about the Mac client with this patch? It's definitely different. when I start dota, it starts loading in windowed mode and after a while changes to full screen, I sometimes have weird around 2 second lag spikes and in some games, I can't see water at all. It didn't do none of these things before. Is there a way to fix it. Help please.

Terrorblade is the ideal "baby's first radiance illusion farmer." It's much easier to micro TB illusions to farm, because you create just one at a time. Also, his stats are amazing, so it's much easier to farm the relic. I kind of like the hero.

I don't like the Radiance build since you kinda cant fight early on.
unrelated: ice3 is a god.

at this rate radiance gonna get 10 more burn damage and evasion back again in next few patches

These aren't bugs, really. Orbs have cast ranges just like other spells. What you might consider a bug is that melee heroes don't have projectiles so their orbs hit instantly when the animation reaches the attack point.
I don't remember how it functioned in Dota 1, but also, ability swapping gametypes were never officially supported, that I saw, anyway.

If a lot of things in Ability Draft weren't hilariously broken it wouldn't be the same thing.

Isn't that the point in ability draft, I don't think it's supposed to be taken seriously! I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the approximate rating where both teams start to draft sensible line-ups, know their heroes and attempt to play as a team? Does the trench tier shit still go on at higher levels? Last night in a ranked match I had 2 guys insta pick the new heroes, feed massively cos they had no idea about the abilites and kept going off, alone into the woods. I'm only ranked around 3k but come on...

Happens at all levels. Thats human nature bro.

You can never leave the trench. You might think for a few games that you escaped, because everything went well. And then you will get that game that will destroy your hopes and dreams, the game in which your teammates are trenchlords and your enemies are a smurf stack.

I will bank on Aghanim becoming situationally viable on Tinker still. Mainly for how long the Laser gets. 1100 range is such an improvement. There aren't many skills with over 1k range and most have a drawback or a quirk. The only other "vanilla" 1k range spell that comes to mind right now is Crystal Nova. Powershot, Fissure, HORSES Skillshot with 0.75 seconds delay, leaves an obstacle that needs to be considered, 5 seconds charge time. Those are quirks or drawbacks, are they not? Also On January 29 2014 23:28 teddyoojo wrote:or maybe tinkers rockets^^ + Show Spoiler +also flamebreak, bm axes, rocket, tornado, icepath, torrent, waveform, stifling dagger, phantom strike, hook, shrapnel, charge of darkness, spectral dagger, toss, timberchain, iceshards, snowball In order skillshot with travel time, skillshot, skillshot with travel time, skillshot, skillshot, 2 sec delayed skillshot, involves moving your hero into danger, vanilla, skillshot, vanilla, involves moving your hero into danger, vanilla, needs a nearby unit and puts it into danger, involves moving your hero, skillshot, involves moving your hero and nearby heroes into danger.

The magic place where are your games are great and look like pro games does not exist. Just focus on yourself and what you can do to win and forget all that other shit.

Every level of pub is clowny, every. single. level. Some games you'll face people that try really hard and pick OP stuff, some games you'll get teams that all random or pick retarded ass shit, this is true from 2k-6k. You simply have to be better than your enemy and you'll advance. Pub play is pub play, it's just the way it is.
