Because I prefer to play solo (no friends playing dota, don't play enough to find people online) and it's completely unplayable now when you get matched with stacks. For some reason 5 total strangers play 10x better than 2+2+1 or even 4+1. It's absurd. | ||

If you queue alone it uses your solo queue mmr, but it doesn't mean you get matched with other solo queue players. | ||

 you may be aware of the TL Awesomeness Contest being run by lichter, which is more of an SC2 General thing than Dota. However, my current opponent has seen fit to bad manner me and also rally people from another subforum too! I cannot stand this injustice and would like to ask my fellow awesome Dota friends to help me too! I've made multiple LR threads for Dota 2 Tournaments, including all the ones for TI3, keeping them updated despite them being at ridiculous time zones. I keep the Dota 2 Calendar completely up to date - as of a few months ago when I started, it's almost impossible to find a missing big event like there used to be! Well... the problem is they aren't. Or they are. My experience as a solo que player is that the game has become extremely volatile the last days after the patch. Either your team rapes face (3-1 ration in kill score, 20k gold lead or so) or you get wrecked. There are virtually no exceptions. I think this depends primarily on stacks working very poorly with other stacks as well as the skill difference being much higher intra stack. Usually 1-2 players in a stack are good and 1-2 are below average. If the team is doing well the good players snowball since they are way above the average and then they rape face. Also a 4 stack never, ever listens to what the solo player has to say. They pick their lanes even if they make 0 sense to me in dota logic without telling me what to pick even. Of course this could because their noob player needs to jungle lone druid but if you pick a team that is perfect for aggressive trilane, lone druid and nightstalker I expect aggressive trilane with my alch but no we put druid in jungle, rubick solo offlane and lion goes to pull which leaves alch against weaver cm and no one is coming to help... In solo que people expected to be put with 5 random people and most of the time they at least tried to coordinate some. Stacks just don't communicate with randoms, the only cooperation I get is from other randoms and sometimes 2-stacks. | ||
