And while that goes on, Valve consciously and purposely decides to not say a word. Hell, we can actually activate the themed maps on our own side with a few minor adjustments. The files and everything is already there. Valve decided not to say a word and to simply ignore the entire situation. Valve could have even helped themselves by saying something along the lines of, "no diretide since we are working on something very special". Now, many would still be upset but there would be less. On top of that, it would be hyping the game. When there is a fiasco and problem, ignoring the fans is the wrong decision. I do not care if the company has a track record of being silent on many occasions. What it ends up looking like is Valve not caring enough to prevent people from wasting their time expecting something they know wont be arriving. Edit: Oh and as Esoterikk mentioned, it was even declared an "annual" event. I guess annual can mean every other year. | ||
