The recipe itself gives +3 damage, 1str, 1 int, which means the whole item is slightly better than 2x slipper + circlet for the same cost (unless you need the +3agi > 3 damage and +1 str/int) and saves you slots to fill with branches.
Cool to know, they never buffed HoN's basic items so I had no idea the valuation of buying them first had changed. Then again I'd rather they do away with the /random bonus gold to begin with (like HoN did).

I disagree, randoming is a risk you take, you might get something bad or something good, and you are rewarded for taking that risk And it doesn't really affect competitive play.

doesn't appear so since that's not bdiz's last name.

That also hasn't been their roster for quite some time.

i guess mTw slowly becoming a fan favorite.
They are always talking with fans, showing practice games/skype voices via stream, good informations about game.

Also there is no word, no rumors, of MLG having Dota2, and since its in Anaheim, you can probably be a shiny penny that Riot talked. Not to mention that like 250 of the peak 340k concurrents that IPL4 had was from LoL.
As much as we wish its dota2, Its almost 100% not going to be Dota2, at Anaheim, the game isn't even released yet so don't count your chickens. arent bulba and bdiz brothers? Like, literal brothers? Not as far as I know o.o if you mean like, bros, well Bulba and Demon are bros and they flame the shit out of each other all the time jokingly Wait, bdiz is a pro dota player now? I played WoW with that guy, he was very mediocre at it and had a huge mouth, talked more shit than anyone I knew. Last I heard of him he was playing HoN and getting carried by looped (no clue what his name is now, in wow he was known as looped.) Pretty cool he got somewhere though, how good is he? This is "rulebook" bdiz right? He's known more for his extremely immature attitude than his skill. He has been kicked out of most teams he was on pretty fast. Whether that's due to poor play or rage issues I have no idea.
Looped could be Fogged? On one the sk lineups. This is all ancient history for me though.

tbh, i just wana see a single dota2 game where people use sylla correctly and so far no team had show that. As puppey said: its a powerful hero and teams are keeping their aces in pocket for major LAN. what mTw is doing will soon backstab them later on and the other teams should learn into that. The fact that they lost to an obvious quad lane game today simply means they are buying too much into the basic dota2 meta game but forgot some of the dota1 textbook strat. My current top teams still gona be Navi and EG with a slight hint of M5 but thats about it. Big prop to synd for entertaining fans though.

it will be interesting to see the development in the competitive scene between now and International 2 and who will eventually get invited.
Teams like Navi who are guaranteed to be invited will probably avoid showing their strats even if that means sacrificing a few minor tournaments because The Chinese and Zenith are famous for having dota almanacs in which they analyse and research opponents' bans picks and playstyle. I can just imagine 2009 and 820 and DC going through navi and darer and clg vods to look for weaknesses and patterns.
Then again, teams like quantic/ mtw need to impress to get invited and has to go all out in the coming months. If the format is the same, 16 slots is not that many and considering they will try to get representations from all regions, it might be hard because they have to compete with CIS teams.
For the chinese teams ,i guess it will really depends on their regional Pro Dota 2 performance and Asian Gigabyte masters ( ie tournaments in the coming weeks). Everything is still for grabs in the china since their jD masters performance was so lacklustre.coL and old its gosu would have probably been a lock to get in a few weeks ago. Too bad for the extreme dip in their performance and itsgosu disbanding. Also not sure if they will give that many slots to CIS teams as well. It will be fun to speculate and many arguments are sure to arise after the teams are announced.
Rough guess based on recent results and regions :
navi darer dts m5 clg mtw quantic eg al dk clc zenith mufc mith mski coL/itsgosu(captain planet)

If yes the vod should be like 16 hours old. edit : looks like not, I don't even know how to show vods from an own3d channel ><

There'll be probably at least 3 Chinese teams since Valve certainly wants DotA2 to replace DotA in China asap and only giving them one slot is certainly not the way to do that. It'd be likely something like 8-10 US/EU 3-4 China 2-3 SEA and AL
Among the Chinese teams DK and CLC (just on starpower alone) will likely be invited, which will leave IG, WE, LGD, and Tongfu fighting for the last 1/2 slots in some entertaining method
|
I'd bet on at least 3 Chinese teams, DK and CLC are probably two of them, and at least one more. Then like you listed, Mineski, Zenith, Mith-trust, maybe MUFC. AL is basically a shoe in due to their location.
So at this point I have 7-8 Asian/SEA teams.
For America, I would assume EG is in just due to name, no matter what their wacky lineup will be, then coL if they pick up from their slump.
Na'vi and Darer are absolute locks, as is CLG, Quantic will be in if they don't bomb out given the odd controversy lately with Link/Angel or something. then theres only 2-3 spots left, depending on if MUFC is in.
Lets be generous and say MUFC is not in, so there are 3 spots. Mouz is probably in due to their popularity, consistency with their lineup, and hell, they have sing, popular as shit streamer. Their results aren't half bad either.
2 spots left
The new Western Wolves+Synderen lineup? Is that really a top 2 team left? I don't really think so, I think DTS and M5 and the former Next.KZ are all better, probably one or two of those three teams are in, meaning 3-4 from Russia/Ukraine which is a reasonable amount. If two of them are in then mTw is out, and I think at least one of them is in.
Final invite? if there aren't 4 from USSR, then we still have the new itsgosu aka Captain Planet, mTw, Dignitas, the former EG European lineup (Maelk, Misery, Playmate, if they're not with EG since Bulba seems to be joining them, well then what? Those guys are talented and recognizable enough to play in the international, so do they form another team or what?)
Basically there is Demon, Bulba, Fear (and those three seem to be locks to be on EG coming up) and then there is Lacoste, Maelk, Misery, Playmate. so 7 players? Will 5 of them be on EG, maybe 6? Then whats the last 1-2 to do, and even Pusher who has alway been close to all those players, is still around.
This is all assuming there are only 3 Chinese teams (there could easily be 4)
*head explodes*

even though im from sea and i love sea dota, sending 7-8 teams to US from sea is almost impossible. The US visa is extremely hard to get and could cost you up to 3-4 months just for the pre interview application. 7-8 teams is 35-40 people and thats insane.
I really dont like the idea of EG entering the contest just bc they have a name. tbh if they are not winning in the next few series they are about to play, im willing to call them bullshiting. M5 and mTw as well as mouz are having incredible ammount of potential atm and even though they are not yet Navi level, they could easily compete with CLG i think.
The result of the upcoming Prodota WL asian division could also heavily change the ranking power of asian team and im looking forward to that. Keep in mind, if the international 2 is happening in Oct, the invitation should be decided around July august so there are not much time left xD

IG is unlikely because they haven't made any indication of playing DotA 2 at all. WE's DotA 2 team hasn't really produced any results (still dunno why they aren't putting their DotA 1 team up to it). It'll probably come down to TongFu or LGD, depending on who gets better results in upcoming events.
