I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but if you're saying "grâce" should be pronounced like "gras", well no it should not. Coup de grâce is pronounced somewhat like "Koo de grass" , although the â in grâce means that it shouldnt be pronounced exactly like the a in the english "grass" word. Still funny to hear english people say "koo de gra" which to a french ear means "fat strike" or something like that. | ||
