-Play with 4 friends with voice communication(skype etc) -Every single line your hero speaks you have to speak out loud to your friends, the more you can copy the voice acting the better -wisp is banned -No other means of communication except pinging are allowed. | ||

Now today I went fuck it and starting picking PL. However it seems like the matchmaker has finally decided it's time for me to win because in both games I played today, my team literally won 4v5 without me. The second game I even had to lane safe lane solo against WR + kunkka doing some Zhou-style 1-protect-4 but then suddenly all the other lanes win, mid pudge wins against invoker (wtf LOL), goes like 8-0 in 15 minutes and their alch who was laning safe lane solo against our Slark + Axe got utterly decimated. Valve MMR lmao. In all seriousness though, I know that Valve has publicly announced that their matchmaking doesn't try to enforce winrates and never looks at your past winrate, but it's games like this that really make you scratch your head and wonder what really goes on in matchmaking. | ||

Why does brew ult have 140s CD at level 16 when a mag RP has 100s?  | ||

I've seen that SO MUCH. You get a hard carry, go off and farm and then at 40 minutes its "hey guys, I'm farmed now; ready to fig...oh you're taking the throne? I'll go back and open the champagne with this abyssal blade I guess..." It seems to happen worst of all on Antimage for me. Either I'll go off, farm and my team will throw so hard I can't pull it back or I'll go off, farm and my team will just win without me. In contrast I've been playing a pretty solid Void lately, supercarry style with midas and bfury, and tend to be heavily involved with my team regardless of the farm heavy style. Maybe its just the way different heroes play I don't know... Edit: Also I agree with 739 above. Winning as Pudge against Invoker isn't exactly a huge surprise. Although having a good Pudge on your team as opposed to the enemy team is a surprise. I thought that was just a myth. | ||

Dota is a 5v5 game with a lot of variables, so stomps can be deceptive. Even evenly matched pro-teams occasionally have very onesided games. | ||

If success, you won that lane. If fail, tough it out till level 6 with bottle crow and try to kill him again. As for gold,i assume you know how to pull the creep line back so that you at least get a couple of last hits. | ||

He needs to cast both cold snap and sunstrike. Especially if Invoker has creep advantage. From level 7 Pudge goes back to winning if he uses both his spells. | ||

Yes, the matchmaking is crappy. Basically my game history is made up by win streaks and loss streaks, there's rarely a streak of mixed results. | ||

It doesn't matter if you can't win lane as long as you still have kill potential once you hit 6. Just survive until then. Early levels invoker has terrible base damage so you can out last hit/deny him before he gets levels up to harass you with cold snap. Abuse that and you'll get a quick bottle while delaying his leveling. This should be enough of an edge to let you get to your kill potential. It's all about waiting for that one mistake from him that lets you kill | ||
