Why would you not go other HP items on Spectre. Sorry, I should rephrase. Depending on how the game goes, I go early treads for a bit of str while I farm up my radiance. Once I get radiance I get all the other usual health items like heart etc.

hmm cus i was wondering whether getting 4 lvls in nova or 4 lvls in aura will be better in helping out overall. nova will ensure better and stronger lane control, but aura will be overall lane control help? the diff between lvl 1 and 4 nova is huge, while 2 mana regen... well idk it doesn't seem really that big to me imo

Here is how I think of it. If your team plays like normal (with no CM on their team) then their mana should be fine (unless they have terrible mana management). Since CM's nukes are so powerful early game, you instead can utilize this by having her roaming and smoke ganking with extremely long range slow+damage and a really powerful disable. Tbh I don't think a 1 extra spell a minute will make a lane completely one sided, but a gank from a CM with high levels in nova and stun will win a lane pretty well.

Nova first is the best in most situations in my opinion, it does alot of damage, has a huge ass range, is AOE and its slow lasts a fairly nice time.

and tbh i think the aura needs a slight buff :p like 0.75 per lvl?

If you decide to max nova and bite early, DO NOT get aura after that. By the time you're level 8 the rest of the team shouldn't have any mana problems whatsoever.

It's a bit presumptuous to say that one "shouldn't" have mana problems when you're level 8 when I've seen pro games where carries are chugging clarities at the 40 minute mark.

Meh, dont see what the hype is about this moon guy.

Can you show me when carries are using clarities 40 minutes in? Especially with arcane boots being so common now, I really don't see myself running into mana problems so late.

Great i also see progames with 2 vlads
In 99% you don't really need those 2 mana/s in the later stages.

generally you want at least a point or two into aura because it helps out your lanes a bit other than that it's pretty situational though
on spectre phase lets you wreck supports even more but treads gives you more hp either is acceptable but phases make you run faster so i like them more
also tranquil > vit booster > radi > heart build courtesy of 5-s

I've never tried Tranquil boots and can't really see how it's any more useful than boots + bottle. Can anyone explain to me what's good about them?

they take up 1 less slot and is faster than boots + bottle. but no.. no theyre not good.

they are good if you get them early and dissasemble them later, so like on axe or something
|
nice on few support heroes (cm in particular, okay on lich as well) okay on ursa cus it splits into vlads and give you regen in the jungle okay on axe and puj for the movespeed and hp regen okay on a few radi rushers (doom, spec) so you can get radi faster
generally tranquil boots are not that good but they're really cheap so they're useful if you're doing poorly

Spent the night playing hard supports, namely Shadow Demon and Venge. One big thing I realized is that I am truly absolutely awful at hard support. The main problem is that my play style just leaves me underleveled by a large margin. I think I have my problem figured out but god damn...support is mentally the toughest role to play in the game.
On the plus side, I feel pretty badass surviving a team fight 75 minutes into the game with nothing but boots and 2 branches and totally rocking the team fight. Shadow Demon is such a fucking boss.

I just had the worst start of a game in a long time:
WR asks to solo top and proceeds to feed top (versus solo jugg). Mirana goes 0-4 against shadow fiend mid. Sven and Am fight for farm and get destroyed bot.
I was playing darkseer jungle, bought chicken and kept wards up while ganking all 3 lanes to get 5 kills solo (while allies were dead/last hitting).
Everyone can play bad at one point, it really doesn't bother me, but they just kept flaming eachother, suiciding, breaking items, refusing to help. I tried the most positive approach I could, and managed to get mirana, WR and sven back in the game, but the 5th asshole just wouldn't stop trolling.
We got 2 wipes on the enemy team with my wall, but in the end lost anyway, due to one bad apple. I'm not sure how to approach bad teams anymore, no matter how positive you are, or how well you play, this community has awful members, and just one of them can bring the worse in everyone else.

How do you get underleveled/farmed as those heroes? They are typically gank heavy heroes so if your good in the early game you can rack up quite a bit of gold from roaming and just killing heroes.
