I think at this point the majority of the dota community doesn't really care whether or not dota ever appears at MLG. I'm sure it would be nice for exposure and all that, but we already have too many tournaments to keep up with. We'll survive. Dota could use 3-4 more stand-alone Lan events like dreamhack. But I doubt that's what MLG would be doing. It doesn't make sense in Dota especially with the ticket system and the fact that people do actually watch online tournaments, you're better off going for long-form league formats. | ||

As said previously, I think what they will do is more like the D2L. Maybe top 4 on Lan final rather than top 2. But I doubt they're going full out. And I even more doubt they are doing anything 'all American'.
