So, since we're getting closer to it, I'm pretty interested in a Dota power rank.
I am pretty impressed with Kaipi's run in The Defense, but then Na'Vi beat them quite soundly twice.

Talking about top teams, does anyone know how strong the chinese are currently? Or Alliance for that matter? They looked a bit vulnerable in The Defense...

A bit excessive but there are much worse sets in the game. (like every Rubick set)

They really need to change the preview in the store to be an actual in-game preview. Those dodgy renders on a gradient just don't represent how things look in-game. Like that weird promotional courier, doesn't look to me as it would fit the artstyle, but fuck do I know unless I actually see it on the field.

Slippery slope argument.

People should be critical now rather than when the game is ruined. It's not about being immersed, it's about some consistent art-style. Which TF2 no longer has and the game looks like a fan-made mod.

People can complain all they like but Valve obviously knows how much money they made from TF2 so it's only a matter of time before shit like + Show Spoiler +

I'm quite sure Dota 2 makes them more money than TF2 already.

Things like that aren't the things which will make a lot of money in Dota. And that courier is nowhere near the level of TF2's ridiculousness.

It's likely that courier is there because Valve's relationships with the devs, it's not going to make them a bunch of money. If they want to make items that make money then release cute animals.
