Explaining to new players that items are activateable or explaining THIS IS THE OPTIMAL SNIPER BUILD AT ALL TIMES THAT YOU SHOULD BE USING I think some of the recommended items just need to be revised. Vanguard is by no means core on Batrider, Alchemist or Razor, and Mek isn't even in the item list for Dark Seer lol Or you know you just pick one of the player guides.

At super low levels I don't really care if people buy vanguards on every hero, being able to mitigate creep damage and have some sustain is a very significant boon to them

You should edit all those heroes reccomended builds into your own, makes shopping life easier too.

What the fuck is the point of the solo queue? Is there even any MMR in that dumpster queue or does it just take 10 random players and match them randomly?

Nothing really new other than a PL in Korea for LoL. There were already Kespa teams and OGN was doing champions so all that's really happening is that the BW hole is being taken over. Doesn't seem to change anything about Dota in Korea though since it's not like this wasn't coming or hasn't been coming.

Gotcha. I have SC2 news filtered out, so I didn't see it. With the Nexon Starter League and others like it to come in Korea, I'm not worried about Dota 2's prospects in that market.

Since the patch, matchmaking seems to be ignoring me. 20 minutes, not even trying to get me into a game. Is it broken for anyone else?

Vanguard was core on Alchemist and Razor a while ago. Mekansm was rarely seen on Dark Seer until last year (or late the year before). The suggestions are outdated more than anything. As you mention, an item like Vanguard is very noob-friendly due to easy build up and importance of HP.

I'm not really into LoL, so correct me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge Korea is really good in LoL. So since the news is them & Kespa joining, doesnt that mean that they managed to become good without being depending on Kespa?
