The only reason they play twice in a row is scheduling.

SpiritBreaker is the biggest winner from patch 6.78.(dotabuff)
It has the 4th most matches played, with a insane winrate of 58% ranked at 2nd, slightly below Warlock no.1 by merely 1% with far far far more games played..
Looks like I was right on how strong SB is right now, it's really insane to be honest. Seriously what happened to SB? Why did he suddenly become the monster that he is right now. Whenever I play it i feel like im the Juggernaut(Marvel), the unstoppable force.

700 hp and 5 armor at lv1 is a pretty useful skill too havr

I really like BO2 because I don't really like to have a winner in group stages. Group stages is more about how you do against the field rather than trying to claim victory over a single team and seeing that Team A already beat Team B in the group stages makes a playoff in bracket less interesting.
In addition Dota is a long game and BO3 group stages are very time intensive, and BO1 makes it hard to adapt to the opposing team's style.

Mirana needs the level boost like heck, she wants to max out every one of her skills,
Additionally, her low damage and low agi gain mean she's very item dependant to continue carrying
Furthermore, her earlygame damage is high enough from spells that she doesn't need an early/mid item to be effective then, so midas doesn't set her early game impact back by much

It's probably the fact that a lot of very core heroes were nerfed, allowing the batch of buffs from 6.75 to go through.

i always saw it from the opposite perspective, ie, her strong early-mid game slant meant that you picked her to dominate that phase of the game and should build items to match. so i've always built items like phase bottle drums aquila deso yasha, even lothars before the nerf
if you were going to afk rice a lane with a ranged carry i dont really see the advantage of mirana vs something like a gyro or luna; i dont feel like the global ult really changes enough to sway me to pick a mirana to build midas
maybe im missing something here

/yeah against a coordinated team he's pretty awful and he still can't carry lategame so vs a turtle lineup you autolose.

No one tried battllefury on potm? It's legit. Good damage and nice hp/mp regen. Just ignore the cleave.

He's not a carry i agree, but he's a anti-carry. He can lockdown a enemy carry easily with his greater bash. It's like how razor isn't a carry, rather it counters them via static link stealing damage.
BTW it doesnt matter that the enemy teleports in to save his allies, provided you also have allies too(not talking about solo dive towers). If you throw in BKB, that is still going to be a won engagement because of how strong SB combo is especially with a BKB. As for observers etc, there's always runes/smoke/lothar. You speak of it like there's no way to gank at all, this arguement should be used against all mid ganker heroes then, afterall there's wards/teleport in to save allies/mini map watching too amirite Erasme? Then there should be no use to pick a ganker hero ever. Afterall there's wards/teleportation/mini map watching!
You guys should try the new SB. Feels good man, seriously.

if you make your argument around the fact that sb has a lot of items and the other team doesnt, it won't go anywhere ive played the new sb extensively, you still have a hero that cannot flash farm and he only has one 'teamfight' ability : charge. He's still reliant on the other team to not have any ward placed or to not tp.
