Puppey had threads with similar levels of hate not that long ago. And now most people are over it. (although I personally think Puppey is probably one of the worse culprits as he does things like talk shit to tournament admins, not just in random pubs) Its for their own good, lets face it. Better to get this out of the way. When you become a popular pro gamer, you can't just mouth off on twitter or when you are streaming.

Puppey can be one of the biggest assholes of the dota scene.

People always bring up sponsors, but youtube stars don't have sponsors and they have just as much drama.

You just show with what kind of fans they have to deal with, so don't be surprised if the pro's act that way.

The worst thing I've heard from Puppey is when he told MYM management to suck a big black cock and indireclt called Merlini a lying faggot. That's not that bad, is it? Ok, it's pretty bad, but I'd say he's just rude, not really an asshole. His choice of words is very bad, but what he actually says is not really that offensive, I think. I never really sen him attack another pro player, an admin or anyone apart from Merlini and MYM.

You should try to watch him stream, he insults everything and everyone lol(Or well sometimes he trolls, sometimes he just plays and then sometimes he insults everyone.)
And i said CAN be, he's generally speaking not really rude or anything but sometimes when he streams he occasionally becomes quite an asshole. I didn't say that he was just constantly a huge asshole.
I'm a big fan of him as a player, but i don't quite agree with the way he sometimes acts on stream.

I would if he ever streamed, feels like he actually turns the stream on once every blue moon. When I managed to catch the stream, I didn't hear anything offensive, really. But yeah, I haven't really watched that much of his stream, so you might totally be right.

The worst I've seen from Puppey is in lobby chat during an official game like last year (which they usually don't show on English streams, but quite often on like the smaller Russian streams).
I'm not going to paraphrase what was said as I don't 100% remember and don't want to give the wrong idea but last year Na'Vi had a bit of an image of being a pain to deal with for tournaments and seeing lobby chat of just being abusive to tournament admins is to me 1000 times worse than anything people say in public. Because it feels like they were abusing the fact that at that time Na'Vi was like 90% of the Dota scene, no one else pulled in numbers, if your tournament didn't have Na'Vi they were nothing.
Like insults on streams or to team-mates or whatever, I don't really care.

I don't even care what puppey says, as long as it's in that smooth masculine voice of his. + Show Spoiler +
But yeah, apart from that, I like his playstyle/commentating a lot and I really wish he'd stream more (last time was on 9th of april I think)

I was gonna post that pic xD hippy puppey best!
I think how puppey talk/joke in general is pretty light-hearted, especially when he is streaming. But when he get mad he is not going to be polite. I heard him on TS many years ago (he was in our cw irc), boy i was so confused with all those loud noises lol

So what's up with these best of two group stages. Recently both the Defense and the Alienware Cup are using best of two group stages. I don't understand the point of them and as a viewer they make the series so incredibly meh when it ties. Not having a winner is just such a let down.

Technically more fair as well, since there is no cointoss involved, like in a third match. It's good in Dota 2 because you have two sides and two picking order, so it works like Home and Away matches. The concept is sound, round robin with each team playing each other twice is extremelly common.
I feel people wouldn't complain about it nearly as much if the teams didn't play the 2 matches immediatly one after the other, even though in theory it's the same thing. They should be treated as 2 separate matches, but that can be confusing if they are played in sequence.
