So group D is categorically harder than group C lol.
The only one of those that is questionable is the Fnatic one, but I'll take the TI3 invited team over the #roadtoTI4 team. I think EG when playing well is better than Fnatic by far. Fnatic is one of the worst TI3 invited teams. but EG is weirdly inconsistent so those games will be interesting I have to agree. Fnatic usually brings it when playing on lan + they've won dh 3-4 times in hon, but right now they're not looking worth a lot.

At my uni, it's normally 15 hours/week of lectures.

Fnatic has been bootcamping as of late so they can finally get that practice in, still not impressed with their play and I feel like EG will beat them.

play in ixdl with the barathum first ban treant first pick meta. You can feel the disappointment on the enemy face every time treant cast his armor. Man, its no longer a balance issue with this hero, its just uninteresting gameplay

Living armor is a lot like the song of naga's people. Use it defensive and you get booed. Use it offensively and it becomes fucking awesome.

Barathroom.
Shoot me.

This. I don't like how people use it defensively. It gives you a ton of offensive options even deep between their towers. The low CD on it just begs for fighting from 1 minute on.

Well most pub players don't manage the timing of creep waves very well (or creep aggro if the wave is there), and it's basically worthless if you dive into creeps because they instantly clean off all the stacks.
It is a good diving skill, but 90% of pubs will never actually be able to use its offensive options effectively.

Balancing the ability isnt hard, you can just always tweak the number around, worse case nerf it to oblivion until redesign concept. The issue is that tree living armor is incredibly unfriendly when it come to spectator sport design.
First of all the ability is global. That alone could already cause many confusion to who ever have to operate the camera. As action pack as this game genre is, challenging the camera skill is something must be avoided before Valve get proper tools set out assisting broadcasters or even ticket dotatv viewers.
Second of all, the ability is disappointing. I wont talk about this since i already mention a few pages ago on how healing doesnt work in a spectating game like dota2. Not only it shut down action, it also deceptive to new comer who try to watch the game. We could argue that there are already similar abilities like such in game: TA refraction, naga song etc... But they are nowhere as spammy abusive as living armor, their effects(visual wise) are also much more significant.
I have been on both the winning and losing end of a treant line up. Overall it feels like im playing a healer line up in a raiding MMO where we just kite the boss while poping pots one by one. Boring to play, boring to watch, annoying to play against.
Again, please disregard balancing talk and ask yourself if this is what you want in a game like dota. We often despite boring farm fit defensive games and promote >2kills perm min game, then why an extreme healer would be something that we want?

Best pubstomp support is warlock lol, rock too imba. Just as good mid too-arguably more than rubick unless the enemy team has some really nice stuff to steal. No arguments here. That shit is just a midgame wrecking ball nightmare. To be honest, I have no idea what to about warlock in a pub. Not the slightest clue. If someone has a diffusal blade... goodbye rock The actual golem is just a bonus, though. Even if you purge it straightaway, you're still bonded and you still got initiated on from a million miles away in a ridiculous aoe. Congrats, you got rid of the golem. Now deal with the team that's already devouring your face. yep its not really true that purges or diffusal blades are good vs warlock. you have to spend 2600 gold on an item you barely need, and if you are a diffusal carrier, having to save charges for warlock golems already can prevent a kill or two. and then if you end up against the monster that is aghs refresher warlock you have to spend half the max charges every 160 seconds. no other purges actually KILL the golem, except medusa after 3 seconds of facing her. Nah shadow demon can purge the golem. its pretty sick
EDIT: Wait shit, this was adressed earlier. Might have been changed at somepoint, but I definitely remeber 1 shooting a warlock golem with SD

Reddit in full-retard mode over the navi-female dota 2 squad. Holy shit.

I don't get all the blame for living armor.
Yeah, sometimes it makes stuff "boring"... But it also creates some really exciting situations.

I think it makes the game harder, the ganks have to be better executed you always have to keep in mind the armor timing and Im all for making the game harder

watching ixmike's stream right now, treant is first pick
what hast thou wrought upon us petty mortals icefrog? the power to save shitty positioning and weak lanes with mine e button is too great a power!

All this talk about defensive treants make me want to go treads, bottle/soul ring, mask of madness on him.
Whenever Icefrog buffs something, there's usually a buff for its counter as well. A lot of heroes with DoT spells got buffed and bloodseeker can remove living armor with bloodrage now.
Anyone know if orb of venom removes living armor instances? Edit: Nope.

Anyone know if orb of venom removes living armor instances? IT works the same as refraction, minimum 5 damage
