I don't think they will be playing competitively until after TI3. Which I've said in the past is a bad idea because I don't see many TI3 players who are likely to leave their team wanting to join QPAD, and they would be even further behind in practice.

Yes, but he has to carry QPAD so he plays 1.

Honestly I don't think there are 2 players you could put with the 3 that are there to make that into a tier 1 team. Rather see them just build around Sing.

Poor sing. They really needed a good coach. I was shocked when i saw them playing so badly after staying together for months. Still traumatized by that 4-0-3-1 NS from Select.

originally he was mid for qpad, but before mini and select left they swapped roles

I think it was sing 1, select 2 and waga 3

To clarify Waga did play 3 on Pulse as well. He hadn't played carry since like last summer.

Eh, I think players would be willing to join QPAD. It's still an opportunity to play DotA full time. There's still the problem that the team will always have Waga and Singsing. Neither of them is a good leader and singsing apparently has problems being lead by someone else, so it's always going to be super awkward in the team, probably.

The bigger problem is their deal with QPAD. I mean, what have they done so far? They spent over a month choosing their roster, then they played for like 2 months and managed to win $1k total by winning the SK tournament, then they disbanded and are going inactive for 3 months. That's preetty shitty if you ask me.

I don't know if I've had this discussion with you before but I've definitely had it with someone here before, but anyway.

First of all I don't think the amount of people willing to move to Sweden is that big. Secondly if we look at the tier 1 players, in terms of salary I don't think QPAD would be getting any more, it really just comes down to living and playing together. And of course the most important part, would they want to join a d-tier team to play together or join a bunch of tested and successful players online?

I think there are a lot of tier 2-3 players who want to join QPAD, but the kind of people they need, I'm not too sure about that.

I think QPAD from the start should have been a team that plays online. Once you have some level of success, move in together.

Honestly I think it will stay. Unlike the range display, dota_disable_range_finder provides the exact same information that the mouse cursor does for displaying whether a spell is in range, it's just way easier to see than trying to see the little walking man icon next to your mouse cursor when you're moving your mouse.

This got me thinking how a better indication would be really useful; here's my first solution:
(Changing the icon from white to red, instead of adding a walking man)

I wouldn't say there's a rumor about it. SingSing plays stand-in for Kaipi because rtz can't play during week-days since he's in school during European peak times.

That's really all there is to it. And SingSing played stand-in a lot when he was team-less so can't make too much out of it.

Still feels like sweet irony to me. There was a time when EE tried to get into Qpad and he was rejected. Now Sing is standing in at Kaipi, which is EE's new team*.

*The team in which EE now plays. He didn't found it as of my knowledge.

Well presumably behind the scenes nothing especially bad was said/done otherwise they wouldn't be playing together. We don't really know what the selection process was like and if they had already chosen someone when EE asked, so it's hard to say.

He comes off as arrogant in both text and speech, to me at least. It's not that he actually is arrogant, not necessarily, it's just his choice of words and how he talks that makes it seem like that.
He really isn't especially arrogant. When KP didn't get invited to the qualifiers he was on MAAD and he didn't say "we deserve it over these teams" he said "these teams deserve it, but so do we". It really just comes down to tone and 'image'.

Then again I don't think Loda is especially arrogant either, so maybe my threshold for calling someone arrogant is just significantly higher than the rest of the dota community.

Inviting KP over QPAD or ICCup was in hindsight an odd move (and aL)

I suppose you can't really know, I don't really know tbh

i dont really see KP doing any better given what ive seen of their recent performance, the top 3 team in western qualifier would have stomped them.

Yeah, I don't know, really. There is something about the way EE expresses himself that puts me off but I don't really have anything against him. Actually couldn't give two shits if he really is arrogant or not. Arrogant people can be quite entertaining.

Recent performance? You mean like beating Mouz, iCCup, Empire and Quantic in their latest meetings?

You can argue about stability and worthiness and whatever, but the idea that Kaipi isn't a superior team to at least half of the teams who got to go to the qualifiers is laughable.

Again, wasn't arguing that they should have been invited.

But claiming they aren't a better team than QPad, aL, Empire or iCCup (i.e. half of the teams) is just. . .well, it's wrong.
