Why is Y bad? On the normal QWERTY layout it is quite good.

alacrity and tornado would mess me up so bad, but then again I guess I wouldn't be too uncomfortable with it.
I use zxcv for my first four items anyways, so it couldn't be that bad.

I think part of the issue is how most of the other spells are on the lower rows. Try using Cold Snap into Meteor into Deafening Blast, for example, while still having to use QWER for changing spells. Cold Snap and Alacrity is also very common combo and they are on opposite ends of the keyboard.

When I suggested this build (it was the core recommendation on PA for years on playdota.com) on reddit I managed to get 50 downvotes. I agree, build is rock solid. Style of play is even more solid after the ulti buff (so you, at least I do, level the ulti before 10-11 as we used to.)
