Also as aui or EE (can't remember) has pointed out before, using it as a movespeed bonus between creeps helps speed up farming. On a completely unrelated note, anyone have a link to the EG fail videos that are being posted whenever they throw?

Lothars getting too mainstream in pubs though. 10/10 All games will have freaking Lotharers. Man I have even seen Keeper go Lothars. =_= Though if you play 5 man stack,it is pretty easy to deal with those Lotharers. Get gem, sentry, dust and start destroying them. I sincerely hope Icefrog nerfed the shit out of this weapon and buffed something else like Sange for example or whatever.

By using it as an escape, you're wasting a significant portion of the item's usefulness and you're putting yourself at risk of enemy competence. It's actually a really good item if you understand that. It also can be used as an escape if you have BoT's or a teleport. I've been considering Shadow Blade Tinker for a while but never had the chance to try it.

That's it's disgusting that everyone is trying to sell it as something "IN THE NAME OF ESPORTS", because it's not, it's just Papa John's and Alex Garfield making money. That we shouldn't get way too excited and think that Papa John's is going to suddenly start pumping huge amounts of money into esports, because something like this already happened and nothing came out of it. (as in a mainstream company made a similar promotion with some esports organization and there's nothing from it now, forgot which company it was exactly). Then it all just spiraled into 2GD ranting about Alex Garfield being good at making money, but being retarded at the same time.

Esports will never make it if it relies on pity and 'plz support us' attitude. Thankfully, I think esports is big enough we don't have to do this anymore, but unfortunately this style will be milked for quite a bit longer.

There comes a time in every fan's life where he realizes that he must eat pizza for the good of the realm. This is that time. We all want to see more mainstream companies invest in esports. "We have the numbers! - we're bigger than some of that stuff on TV!" It reads like a fucking propaganda, it's making me sick. Sure, it's probably part satire, but still, come on now...

Well, I think there is a difference between helping esports by turning off addblock for your commonly visited websites / streams, or buying tshirts for your favorite team (well, I just wanted to own a Teamliquid shirt, that's all), and actively going out and buying pizza for a pseudo-sponsor. To some extent, sponsors look for a return / increased revenue or traffic sent from their sponsorships, but I can't help but feel like this is a bit of a stretch. Hard to know exactly being on the outside looking in, but I just feel crappy about it.
