Gotta disagree. There is no Repel on Abaddon, and there is no rambo-death-shield on omniknight.
If anything, omni is a more passive version of abaddon. Abaddon is fun because you just got batshit insane with him

Aw yeah, Abaddon is probably my second favourite hero, a support that is hard to kill? Great!
He'll keep his team just going and going, diving towers all day long.

edit: One thing I usually do when steam isn't working for me, is go to Dotabuff . Usually if it's actually a steam problem(and not just on my end), DB will state that the API is currently down on the main page.

Every week or so someone always asks this question. Haven't you people figured it out by now that Steam/Dota servers have issues. Just go take a break for a few minutes then you can go feed more later.

Does this mean China has another "China" server for the Chinese players?

It's another chinese server exclusive for Perfect World registered players AFAIK. I don't know how it works exactly, someone from china would have to explain it.
======= Reverse QQ. http://dotabuff.com/matches/180032919 (may not be up yet, but will in a few minutes)
This was the best game I've had in a looooooooooong time. Random'd AA, which is great. It's on South American servers, and our players consist of 3 Argentinians and 2 Brazilians(me + CK). It's hard to play with spanish-speakers, as I don't understand most of what they say, but it's kinda doable.
However, this game. How beautiful. We had a Rubick who was simply a BOSS in roaming. Me and him setting up wards all the friggin time, counter-ganking with TPs everywhere, and most importantly: coordinating. It was beautiful. Then, CK also understands his shit. I didn't even need to talk to him(I thought he was also an ARG player until the end when said he was brazilian). I place an aggressive ward on bot lane. All I have to do is to ping CM, and he instantly stuns as soon as the animation for my Cold Feet begins. It wasn't "Oh he is cold feeting", it was a "I trust that you will Cold Feet, so I'm stunning". And the coordination was perfect: we raped that lane.
And then the tasty tears from Skywrath Mage, on the other team, complaining how we are all helping our carries and counterganking and generally playing as a team, rather than individuals.
Truly, this was an amazing game for me. It is basically the proof that nationality just doesn't matter - good players will play well regardless. Communication is hard? No problem, all you need is a couple words, pings and chatwheel.
I loved this game.

I think (hope?) that Valve had the foresight to make sure that cross server/region play was possible when they gave PW the rights to Dota in China.
ps It's an amazing feeling when a dota pub comes together.

Best part of Dota pubs is when that happens. Even better if it is just 5 random people that got put together vs a stack.
Had an AR game the other day where we had no carries on the team (vs a team of 4 carries and a tusk to be fair) and the people on the team did what needed to be done and we ended up winning it pretty handily.
I don't know if I like it more when the people have mics, but if they communicate while playing it doesn't really matter to me.

well i use to solo q before stacking and some ppl with mics are very funny and friendly. i prefer mics over typing because typing gets you KILLED.

The amount of times I have died while typing is extraordinary. I usually ping or draw on the minimap and just type really fast things line "b" or "care". Voice chat only as a last resort if I need to explain something quick. I learned my lesson back in DotA 1.
Man, DotA2 has spoiled me.

That looks awesome. I'd love to see what people can do with custom HUDs. Already a big fan of the couriers people have come up with (seriously, the rocket chicken, so awesome). Can only imagine what the HUDs would look like.
I agree entirely, I'd buy a liquid HUD immediately, no questions asked.
