Have you tried Mek-->Blink? Meepo becomes an unstoppable killing machine with just those two items. Granted the opposition isn't particularly dangerous in murdering you. (NyX, Earthshaker, etc) I feel Blink is core, with Mek. then Aghanims. Everything else falls to the wayside, even Vlads considering majority of your damage comes from Poof burst+passive DoT. | ||

I know someone said the gay people he knows doesn't take it personally, but I myself know several others who have had really difficult lives because of homophobic people ranging from getting kicked out of the house or bullied to the point where they've had to go through counseling for years or gone back into the closet. It's a lot more prevalent than you think, and just because you and your friends are cool with it and use the word, it doesn't mean everyone is. I know people are gonna tell me puppey didn't mean it in that sense, and he probably didn't, but you don't fucking know for sure. Yeah, that guy who emailed the sponsors is probably a dick, but the sponsors themselves really hate this kind of stuff. Don't blame the guy for pointing it out. The sponsors won't pull out, they'll just tell him not to use the word on god damn twitter of all places. | ||

Had merlini been homosexual I would've seen why it would've been a problem that someone had used "homosexual slurs" in his direction, I honestly doubt Merlini did more than laugh at Puppey's tweet if his personality on stream is an indication. I just dont get ANY of this, it's like if all homosexuals are supposed to be angry at Puppey since he called someone a faggot but obviously some dude cared enough to be offended instead of Merlini himself In my world Merlini was unprofessional and irresponsible as fuck, pointing something like that out. He has ALOT of status in the dota community and honestly should've known that it was a shit-storm starter, no matter if it was a tactical pause or not. THat's not saying puppey is a saint as he shoulda honestly ignored it but his ego wouldn't allow it, Merlini didn't even leave out the opportunity that it wasn't a tactical pause at all... | ||

As for the latest twitter drama: scoots just wanted some attention, and puppey sadly gave him plenty, its better to just ignore people like that. When you are a professional player, and another famous/ex-pro calls you a cheater in public, without doing proper research/asking more opinions/contacting the accused party, its normal to be angry. It's also interesting to see how people forget that the entire idea behind an insult is that it is offensive. Mainly to the recieving party and sadly, possibly, also to others. If you call someone a mother fucker, it's offensive to other people who got touched inappropriately my their mother at a young age or whatever. If you call someone a bastard, it's offensive to other people who are the illegitimate offspring of unmarried parents. If you call someone stupid, it's offensive to people who suffer from mental retardation. Etc... Wish people would stop being so sensitive. | ||

I can't speak for the rest of europe, but in denmark barely anybody gives a fuck about political corectness, our primary source of humor is satire and incredibly black humor and we'll make fun of ANYTHING. @Above, i'm by definition a bastard, but i wouldn't give two fucks about if someone called me one. Playing dota has made me pretty fucking immune to insults and threats. | ||

The best advice I can give you is to always have a replicate up running around the map with your team while you are splitpushing and join the fight as it's about to start. Morphling is really farm dependet and you can't waste time running around with your team for no reason. | ||
