On second thought, phase are probably better... Aquila would be good for a more farming potm. tranquil not bad at all since she has awful staying power in lane past initial regen. just expect to do much less right click damage

I find myself getting bottle on Potm to do some crowing when the bird is free. I pretty much use the same build most games, phase aquillas bottle into manta, after which I get either deso or mjolnir.

Enigma is a natural jungler (the fastest one actually), and thats about all you can argue for enigma's case. Mag on the other hand has an innate escape ability, semicarry potential (or boosting your own carry), pushes as well as enigma with creep clearing speed, as well as much better burst aoe damage.
When blinking in a mag has the time to cast at least a shockwave / skewer after rp, but when do you see enigmas having the time to drop a midnight pulse before the black hole and risk a PGG?
Aside from the fact that Magnus is leagues better than Enigma, I don't know why anyone would pick Enigma anymore with Rubick and Silencer in the pool. I was playing enigma recently and thinking the same thing, magnus is just so much better in every regard, he is much more flexible concerning lanes (can hard lane, mid, even jungle on radiant), has a built in pseudo blink that means that you can land big ults even without blink. You don't have to worry about being interrupted either, so bkb is not as important as it is on enigma. It's really sad because blackhole looks way cooler than RP, I wish RP was nerfed a bit maybe even make it not go through bkb. Enigma can also go hardlane, mid or jungle (much faster at that). He does lack the bullshit escape though.

Come to think of it, so many of the picks nowadays either have some form of escape or tankiness. Those that don't usually require some bs skillset to be picked. *cough cough KOTL cough*

I doubt offlane enigma will work anymore. Just requires a quick wrap around gank a few good agro swaps to destroy him early.

Same can be said about most offlane heroes. If the enemy team wants to shut down your solo offlane, they will do so. At least you get free denies and can try to farm with Eidolons and use them to scout. Also, if everything fails you can abandon the lane and farm the jungle.

PotM feels so situational but my core is tranq/midas/roa into phase manta if good farm, and then it all becomes situational.
If offlane and more roam I just go straight phase/wand with drums and then try and farm a manta and then a mkb or deso. Would arcanes be worth it here? The extra speed boost and damage from phase can be real nice but the mana boost form arcanes could also help out alot if you're poor. :C

does anyone else saving skill points while playing drow? the aura often push the lane so hard and make it impossible to last hit

What if you take stats instead? Dunno, might be the stupidest idea ever.

Can't you just toggle it off?
Toggling should only remove it from creeps, so it would still help you and every other allied hero on the map.

Was this a recent change or something? Because I remember it being possible. Playdota also says so, and it is ussually updated correctly on patches.

When they changed it from global creeps to just local creeps and global heroes they removed the toggle. It's really annoying. About not skilling i think if you have ranged heroes on your other solo lanes you should always skill the aura. It makes solo mid so easy.

It's back to how it used to work for creeps. - Trueshot Aura now only affects non-hero units within 900 range of Drow
