She's currently sitting in dead last place, the only hero with sub 40% winrate in PUG's for the last couple of months according to dota buff winrates and I haven't seen anyone pick her in ages competitively (although I do very occasionally see the odd 5th ban). Maybe it's the sheer insanity of the current meta trying to push against dark seers and keeper of lights with minions bringing her down or the fact that phantom lancer seems to do a not entirely dissimilar job so much better. Shame, because I love swarming towers with spiders.

Broodmother has a terrible win rate in pubs because she has to be played uniquely and has a very specific niche. Competitively she has a place and I've still seen her picked up occasionally, though you'll generally be wanting to 5th pick her because she can be counter picked fairly well.

Well there's two obvious retorts to this: 1) She doesn't appear to be being used competitively either, as I pointed out. 2) Did I say the word balance? Game designers like to account for most levels of play to some degree. The fact that brood mothers is now sitting below a difficult character like meepo in PUG's should still raise some eyebrows.

You should have then started your discussion with data from dota-academy and not from dotabuff. Anti-Mage has a winrate of 41%. Does he need a buff? So yeah, bringing up pub-stats in the first place is wrong. Don't do it. Icefrog doesn't balance for pubs, he balances for pro-players. Edit: The last time she was picked in February and March the teams won the games with her. Did you even look at dota academy? http://dota-academy.com/hero/32/ I agree the current meta doesn't suit her but talking about buffs from pub-stats is just stupid.

Seriously: She just seems to be a Hero that only really works with a serious gameplan built around her... That’s just not happening in pubs most of the time so she ends up to be a (horrible) carry that boosts the XP of the enemy team.......

Especially when you get roamed on from 3 different heroes mid and your team does nothing about it. ![]() So you mean pretty much every SF game. He's my favourite hero, but I never play him anymore, because it's not fun sitting behind your tower, waiting for that ES to go away.

So you're saying you like them hooks ^^ Played timbersaw for the first time yesterday. Don't know why he slipped under my radar, I already have a lot of playtime ^^ He looks incredibly fun, gotta play him more. Last hero on my list is troll, but I played him in dota 1 and in dota 2 i'm not really motivated to play him. Most fun hero for me is probably invoker. Very strong midgame, and probably the most fun lategame of all heroes, when you got aghas and lvl 4 invoke and can spam out those spells =)

You don't understand statistic's if you think there wrong, there simply gathered data, which your choosing to interpret a certain way. They are what they are. I did not make a comment on balance. I am merely disappointed that broodmother appears to be struggling in all levels of play both in disorganized pugs and at seeing play in tournaments. Even in Soloqueue, just look at sf games of pros, they will be completely raping everything in the majority of them (the minority is games where they enemys went fullretard and focused all their efforts on shutting down sf).
