Bane, Tide, Razor, and Rubick are the only heroes with an ability that reduces damage directly. I'm curious how much survivability a line-up composed of these 4 heroes + 1 would be in a team fight... You have enfeeble that reduces damage of one hero by 30/60/90/120 and cannot be removed by anything, 40% damage reduction in an aoe from anchor smash, flat 32 damage reduction on multiple targets from fade bolt, and Razor can steal hundreds of damage from a single hero. They all go through magic immunity except fade bolt. The obvious counter would be high magical damage but Rubick has passive aoe magic reduction. Just a casual cloak on every hero and you have 50% magic resistance on everyone and no one on the enemy team does notable damage at all. Nightmare also makes static link reduction guaranteed. Laning doesn't look impractical, especially since there's an extra slot leftover, although it doesn't seem particularly strong. The biggest weakest is probably the lack of damage output, so a glass-cannon carry might have the best synergy. Maybe zues, sf, sniper, luna, lycan can work. Recalling the moments where I've mindgamed people with the 40% anchor smash on Tide, a strategy like this might be useful. Regardless, seeing it in action, with all that damage reduction, would be highly entertaining.

It's definitely one of the more entertaining tactics to see when pulled off perfectly. Combining it with a Pudge hook would be pretty awesome. This lineup doesn't have enough damage to fight against good early game heroes (chen, nightstalker, enchantress etc.). The teamfight potential is decent assuming you're not at a disadvantage in terms of gold and exp.

Their general dota2 segment is pretty good now that they have Bruno too in case you've been ignoring that, it's in the VOD chunk before this on starting at around 1:56:00.

CK+wisp has gotten boring I dislike Naix Fuck PL because fuck PL. Rest of the picks are fine/fun esp Clockwerk and Puck The addition of Statsman Bruno for GD studio is amazing btw, it made the Dota 2 segment go from nothing to really something he needs a hat tho.

But I don't remember when last we saw so many heroes played. of course i'm discounting the early SL/EMS games when I'm saying I'm getting tired of the same naix/gyro picks. Alchemist, Warlock, Spectre, Silencer... hell yeah. Probably I'm just bored of seeing the same picks due to lack of chinese/SEA doto.
