What gives you more mana regen, urn of shadows or ring of basilius? Or... Since urn is percent based, when (how much int) does it take to regen more than basilius? The reason I ask is because I want to try my hands at clockwerk, and found that he had some mana problems. And I would really like to skip mana boots on him. So I thought urn would be the perfect item, cheap item that doesn't slow him down to much with some strength gain, heal (potential "nuke") but then again basilius gives mana regen with some damage and armor which also sound pretty neat. And items like medallion and soul ring feels a bit to dangerous on clock.
So, best mana regen; urn or basilius? Overall thoughts on which item to get?
neither urn nor basi gives him enough mana regen, you need a bottle or arcanes int gives you .04 mana regen per second, so it's .02 mana regen per int for urn, so you need 33 int for it to surpass basi basi actually helps a decent amount but generally a bottle is more useful anyway edit: but urn is really good on clock anyway, he needs the hp and the charges help a lot

I see, suddenly the math makes sense to me! Yeah, I know getting bottle on clock is a must, but I figured since urn is relatively cheap it might be worth it, considering the heal and all. Though with basi beeing even cheaper I started wondering if that item would be even better. ^^ Thanks!
I don't like skipping arcanes because I feel like bottle is reasonably unreliable and that Arcanes for the team offers quite a big boon aswell. I can see people skipping it but I don't like it.

For me I make this judgment on how well I am able to control runes or whether someone else on the team will want them, and how many arcanes we already have on our team.

Aren't smoke ganks common on the EU server? I swear every game you play in SEA it has a QoP and roaming supports with smokes everywhere.
no eu is all about buying items for yourself, you get flamed by buying ward/sentry etc because you are useless to the team, so logically almost never see anyone buy a smoke, or joking aside, even if we did we ended up wasting 30seconds to gather and then smoke. Unlike the one in that YYF's video, his troll+BM smoked up twice to end that AM's farm. Game so good!
