If there is a reasonable chance it isn't intentional it isn't bannable. That would be silly. You punish things you are reasonably certain are an issue, not things that may or not be an issue, just because there is a chance it was intentional. | ||

I remember that was the only think I and my friends did with Techies in Dota 1. most of the time, you shouldn't. techies has an absolute disgustingly terrible damage that you need to use the land mines to last hit and get a fast soul ring/bottle/arcane boots up. techies demolishes his lane and pushes insanely fast, i've downed towers with techies 5 mins into the games by simple hitting creeps so they are evenly low on hp, last hit with land mines, get decent mana regen and just push push push with land mines. get fast lvl 6, get complete map control, and continue pushing while getting items like euls, arcane, soul ring, bottle, aghanims, etc. at lvl 11 with lvl 2 ult and lvl 16 with lvl 3 ult, you can more or less one hit an entire creep wave, allowing you to consistently push with remote mine + land mine. 6 towers down in 20 mins is not a problem unless actively countered. there was an old-school guide by Leon that led to the Leon Techies build (before the Guinsoo build up was changed, it was the premier way to build and play a techies), while some components have changed, the general idea behind playing him has not. heavily underutilised and misunderstood hero. you will never get enough levels or farm by maxing suicide, or even actively trying to use suicide. should only use it when you see 3 or more kill potentials or to deny your enemies a hero kill. edit: of course, you can always play silly and go for combos like vs + techies, tiny + techies, pudge + techies, treant + techies... | ||
