There was a field in the WEB api saying season so I added it, dunno what it means. http://pastehtml.com/view/cqdvboqvu.html Here uploaded it somewhere. You can get an API key from: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=47115 And the source code is available under https://github.com/YoshiTL/Dota2MatchInfo

I'm super interested if the webAPI can draw from custom games. if it can its possible for a person to set up an entire IHL league with ranks and everything all automated which would be fantastic.

It will more than likely be a Team MM system with a Team MMR although I wouldn't be surprised if they did a solo ranked queue as well. Games not done yet and Valve aren't fucking stupid; they know whats missing and what people want.

Valve's statement: Our original plan was to spend the next year or so in beta, adding new features and slowly growing the number of heroes until we reached a level of parity with Dota 1, at which point we’d release Dota 2 to the world. But the feedback we’re seeing everywhere is that people just want to play it, even though there’s still a ton of heroes yet to be implemented. We’ve also seen that the folks who are already in the beta are chomping at the bit to show everyone else some of the fun games they’ve had. So we decided our original plan was dumb.
