I went double bfury on Lion the other day, when asked I explained it was 'to cleave the PL illusions', and the enemy bounty hunter + PL spent the next 40 minutes trying to explain to me that cleave doesn't work for ranged. I ended up winning with a score of 25/10. | ||

In fact, you might say one is highly conducive to the other  IMO, the point of smurfing is to lose in fun ways, so that you can win however you wish. Edit: ROFL at firebolt. That's why you don't level it up until you get your first bfury. This is actually why Lion isnt picked much in competitive, he really requires a lot of farm to be effective. blink + bfury + manaboots = 8k gold. | ||

I think the in-game tournament system of Bloodline Champions was pretty fun, with cosmetic rewards, titles etc. for well performing teams. Also with the quality of spectating system it would be pretty fun to root to your friends, maybe allow few first spectators to choose if they want to cast the game? Then again, Dota matches are pretty longish so it would either require multiple mini-tournaments or just over weekend larger one with bo1? There would probably have to be separate skill tiers based on teammatchmaking ranks, a division system? Would anyone of you play in such if it was implemented? I remember picking up teams from chat in BLC if my friends weren't online for one, but I don't know how valid it would be for Dota. | ||
