while queue, i often just tab out and multitask other things. Staring into the game screen is nothing more than wasting your life :-/... May i recommend /r/gonewild?

Here's an example: + Show Spoiler + Example of the fastest I could do:+ Show Spoiler + One thing I couldn't replicate is the very LAST raze(in the first video), it's cast nearly instantly. SF's hands animation still begins but the raze is cast super super fast, haven't seen it cast so fast ever. Maybe it was lag? Anyone seen anything like it before?

I think I'll just keep playing rd and sd until very high, which should come soon enough if I keep my winrate and then just ask my team what to pick. Hopefully some day I'll meet puppey on ladder, that guy's an absolute genius at cm

Hopefully some day I'll meet puppey on ladder, that guy's an absolute genius at cm Most teams will pick 1 hero that's suited for mid (invoker, TA, rubick), if there's 2 then it's usually the one who isn't really effective in other lanes. The suicide lanes are usually solo with pretty obvious candidates (tide, brood, BH), occasionally the lane is run with 2 people but it's more common to run a trilane safe lane or duo safe + jungler. Junglers are pretty obvious: Chen, enchantress, enigma, furion.. Then on the safe lane, it's usually the hard carry and the hard support (who's usually ranged to help harass). Sometimes there's 2 supports here to facilitate pulling and to double up on the harass. With more experience, you can guess the strats of your opponents pretty well. The first 3 picks + 2 bans involve the more popular heroes, with the second ban stage most important. I'm not entirely sure of the current picking strategies after 6.75, but there's still trends. Do the 3 picks of the opponent lack push/counterpush? A hard carry? Hard supports? Junglers? Then ban accordingly in order to screw with them as best as possible.

Chance are if you do see one of them on ladder they won't respond, because they get a fanboy every game who won't shut up and play.

I was just recently playing pudge listening to some awesome metal, and the thought occurred to me: What do other people listen to while playing dota, and does it vary with heroes? What genres work best for you? Like I said, I always listen to metal when playing pudge (Pantera, dreamtheatre, system of a down, Rage Against the Machine all work pretty well, but there is something stupidly satisfying with hooking people to "let the bodies hit the floor"). For other heroes, though, I usually like to play to rap with a decent beat (dunno why, for whatever reason it works for me). What music do you guys like to listen to when killing other heroes?

Pudge is especially good with "hooks in you" although they're not really related

The opposite is, thankfully, also true - Frank Sinatra's "My Way" is absolutely amazing edit: ^ I fully support playing with Infected Mushroom music
