No no 1% is by no means big. like 85 secs to kill someone

And 1% is more than 100 seconds to kill coz they regen. You use heartstopper the make people not want to be within 1000 (!) range of you. Level one is a bit more than a ring of regen regenerates for most heroes, it's MASSIVE

1.2% and it's negative regen, meaning it's not reduced by spell resist.

skill 1 level in heartstopper. the enemy no longer passively regenerates, they need to buy items to get regen. giving yourself permanent damage in lane is ridiculous especially for a healer character.
EDIT: dendi with tranqs on BH. :D

Venge actually deals more dps than drow
|
139 agi drow 132 agi venge
50 base damage drow 46 base damage venge (averages)
189x1.28 damage drow 178x1.36 damage venge
242 damage drow 242 damage venge
drow has more agi both have same attack rate. therefore drow does more DPS.
EDIT: is anyone watching M5 vs CLG.. because professor of lizardry is a pretty awesome nick for dota...

No. The damage it does is actually pretty big No no 1% is by no means big. like 85 secs to kill someone 1.2% in teamfights is pretty damn good. Sorry i think you're severely underestimating just how big an impact it has in fights with necrolyte in them(Which will often be prolonged due to the nature of him as a hero.)
Due to the big AOE of the skill it will constantly be dealing anywhere from 3.6 to 6% damage to the enemy team split among them every second, if a fight lasts just 10 seconds this is suddenly 36% to 60% and if it lasts 20 seconds it's 72 to 120%. Not sure how this is weak. You want to buff it up to 3%, that would make it anywhere from 9 to 15% per second and in a 10 second fight 90% to 150% and in a 20 second fight anywhere from 180 to 300%.
Obviously these numbers fluctuate as enemies die/whatever.
But it's a good skill for prolonged fights, which necrolyte is good at.

You forgot the minus armor venge has. Ontop of a stun. Not to mention venge has better strength gain.

isn't heartstopper aura's damage HP removal so it ignores magic resistance?

drow keeps you from touching her in the first place who cares about a slightly higher strength. and you can't do crap to her spell wise because she silences you. :/

On a related note, how would you build a carry VS? I've never fully done it, so I built her like Mirana, but now that I think about it...probably the same as Drow? Manta, Satanic, Daedalus, MKB, Butterfly, BKB, some combination of those items.
