If you are paying attention to the debuffs, you will have plenty of time to just tp to a safe location if you chose to.

I present to you.....14-0 necrolyte rape. + Show Spoiler + Randomed necro first, call mid, because mid necro is pretty decent. Team picks...as you can see, a bunch of 1/2s. I say screw them, i called mid, I'm going mid, don't pick such crappy lane heroes next time when I call mid right off the bat, before you even pick. Go mid...rape.....more rape. Game ends. ![]() Ok.....I feel better now. Laugh at me, call me n00b, whatever, that was the most hilarious game I have played yet. <3 Dota 2.

Actually, necrolyte was commonly picked as a 2/3rd position semi-carry with some anti-carry potential (assuming the other team was running a 4-1 lineup). Err.. so yeah.. he can carry well.

Err.. so yeah.. he can carry well. Hmmm....I have literally never seen him played like that, in dota or in his HoN version. He can be a sick mid vs some heroes though. Vs lesh in this game for instance.....yeah, not even close. That nuke spammage is painful stuff around level 3.

Vs lesh in this game for instance.....yeah, not even close. He's lost popularity recently, but typically he was picked as a 2nd/3rd position hero that builds defensive team items. DK picked him a few times for Burning in some games at the end of 2011/early 2012 in DotA 1. And Natural Order is a pretty damn powerful skill lategame.

Basi, Treads, Vanguard/Mekansm, Hood -> Pipe, and then Hex/Shiva's makes him a pretty tough bastard to kill. Was pretty good at killing Alchemist back when Alchemist was top tier ban/pick (I'm not joking about this either Alchemist used to be a badass) since Heartstopper Aura negates a large chunk of Alchemist's HP regeneration and once you get Alchemist down to half life you just kill him with Scythe.

AA was never banned and fuctions well in a dual lane with another stun. Was discussed during the International. Essentially, hard to fit in a 3-1-1 metagame. Very level dependent and levels too slowly as part of trilanes (and has poor farming ability so has a hard time catching up midgame after a rough early game). Can't handle mid very well against many of the common mid picks (Invoker, Rubick, QoP, etc.). Can't farm solo hard lane. So overall hard to fit him anywhere when games are dominated by 3-1-1 play. Carries a certain usefulness against Morphling and Chen, but overall still awkward to pick if you can't lane him somewhere where he can comfortably get levels. He's much more comfortable in 2-1-2 setups, and was much more common in Chinese DotA 1 in the earlier half of the year when 2-1-2 setups were more common (playing well with Sand King or Earthshaker as a hard lane duo).

Is it even worth it skilling level 2 and 3 before maxing out Natural Order?
