If you do it during the day, it prolongs the day, making it longer until the next natural night. Although this can be good if you time it so that when rosh is up you have a natural night to work with. | ||

In wc3 dota there is an interesting interaction with luna's ultimate, if nightstalker's ult is active (artificial night) when luna ults (also artificial night) when luna's ult ends nightstalker's ult also ends no matter how long it was suppose to last. Not sure if this was ported into dota2. This creates some interesting synergies with nightstalker and luna on the same team but communication is key to not waste nighttime. | ||
