Chop trees down when ur in a big fight and hide yourself in there while blasting away at the enemy.
I don't mean to be rude but is it actually viable? LOL
The xtra dmg could help as well. I'm just trying to learn how to properly build him.

Will test with net_graph on soon but I think they said it's only loading, not that good in tech speech thou

On a side note, are we now competing with just how hipster our signatures can be? First 5-s, then that guy 'before 5-s changed his sig', and now you. I'm going to have to come up with one soon.

Maybe 'Since the 6.43c era'? When was vP first dominant? I forget, I was so young back then.

I don't know exactly when I started too, I remember the version but it doesn't match who I played it with (school period) so I'm lost

I started playing casually in 2008, can't remember what version

About Pugna, I don't agree with the 4-0-4 at all =D Decrepify is +40% magic damage even at level 1, you have to take one level at level 2 and then you can not level it if you want but you still have to take one level, it makes your 325 nuke a 450 nuke, and allow to decrepify your ward (which is a retard magnet when they try to last hit it and usually allow you to set up another blast =) ) Level 2 blast also does less damage than lvl1 decrepify+blast so if you want to keep lvl4 ward you can do 3-1-4, the utility of even lvl1 decri is too much to wait for level 9 (or even later if you take ulti) to pick it imo.
And yeah, ward vs heroes like shadow shaman or tinker is devastating, when ss tries to place his serpent wards it's more or less a sure kill with lvl4 ward (mana cost is 600 at level16 :D And even against a level 8 shaman, his full combo is a little more than 500 mana)

The game definitely loads faster on the test client but the fps change wasn't obvious though there might have been a slight imprevemnet, like 5-10 fps, which is 5-10 % for me (it scaled down when more stuff was happening but was still around 5%, hard to measure such increase without more advanced tools) I was testing it with invoker, the guy infamous for longest load times and had a blast spaming sunstrike on wtf mode onto bots, felt totally like orbital bombardment xD

Cant remember when I started, but i do remember the addition of heroes like Warlock, Meepo, Batrider, TA. So I guess its a while ago.
|
does warlock even belong in that list? lol
|
My point was that I remember when these were added. Dont know which came when.

Great, performance improvements just when I get a new computer. Oh well, still can't complain. And I clearly remember the first version I played was 6.59d, back when int carries like DP and Necrolyte were unstoppable, Bloodstone healed 2 hp and mp per charge, heart healed 1% of hp even during combat, NA mana burn was broken (like 250 mana at level 7) and Dirge was permanently banned. Heroes like AA, Disruptor, Rubick, TC and Wisp weren't even out yet. Same went for items like Medallion, Arcane boots, Urn, Pipe, Drums and Smoke. I bet many people here were around for even longer though
|
I started when Batrider was added and quit when AA and Slark were added and begrudgingly moved to HoN because my friends did. And then quit that when the beta ended.
Really the biggest shock for me in dota2 was all the new items like the ones listed in the post above, I knew new heroes were coming out constantly but for some reason I didn't realise they were adding items too over the years.

woah, from iGs Facebook: All iG Dota players use legacy key settings in Dota2! : ) So does Purge, it doesn't really say much more than "This player played Dota 1 so much that they are actually better at an inferior system". I do think there are a few instances where legacy keys can actually be better though, invoker comes to mind.
