Not surprising considering that big tournaments are profitable with ticket sales.
Oversaturation is going to kick in this year though, it already is.

sad for no US teams but it's normal since this an EU only tournament but i don't mind since the first 2 seasons were awesome

all matches were played on EU anyway for US teams, which might explain their poor performance compared to cross-server leagues

What do we have now that's actually "new"? MLG? D2CL? Well at the same time we don't have TPL or The Defense. So those cancel eachother out.
In terms of major leagues there might be like 1 more than last year.

A bit longer breaks between the seasons would be nice other than that it's good to see that it is not just TI4 level top teams.

Shit hasn't really changed. Tournaments have just gotten bigger.

I think we've reached that point of market saturation for tournaments. Organizer better get their shit together for the post TI4 season so we don't have another clusterfuck of tournaments all in the same 4 months.
