5) Run from a spawn point elite pack. If you take a waypoint or enter an area and as soon as you spawn, there is an elite pack waiting for you, do not fight. In hardcore you need space to work with. Space to kite, or retreat, or find a way out. Do not back yourself into a corner by fighting an elite pack in a fresh area that has nothing cleared yet. | ||

That way if you spike or disconnect, someone is there to watch over you / kill the enemies in the area etc. | ||
