Also, does anyone know when they merge the brackets? Im just wondering how you know who plays who after the brackets are full IIRC, A & B play in one of the semifinals, and C & D play in the other semifinals.

Usually yes, but when i woke up a few hours after final ended and went to check the VOD page, the facebook/twitter feed thing said something like "series tied 3-3 and going to a final match!" Im sure it was only because the final had just ended that it was still up, but still spoiled it for me ![]() Also what maps did Idra downvote to get steppes and basin??? My guess would be Blistering Sands and Delta Quadrant although i would think you would rather play either of those than Steppes or Jungle Basin... especially Delta, i can see Blistering being a personal preference i guess. edit: I guess XNC would make sense as well knowing Idra's play style.

Beside Idra, but when we ignore all "I'm world best player can easily come to finals -oh snap i got owned" talk, i'm sure he would be happy with RO 16 back to back too. I actually don't think Idra has that hard a road, unless Check is good at ZvZ. If he manages to get past MVP, the difficult opponents on the other side of the bracket are Boxer and Jinro. Boxer's TvZ is pretty bad but since his TvT is really good, he might knock out Jinro only to lose to Idra. Jinro has a decent road that is difficult only because Boxer is good at TvT but Boxer's shaky TvZ might cause him to lose early on. I don't think Moon is that good at SC2 yet. Haypro and Sen just have crazy difficult brackets. Ret probably has the easiest road as it doesn't look like it gets hard until the Ro16. None of the top Koreans look like they have an easy bracket, either. Foxer's, MC's and Nestea's look the easiest. Fruitdealer and Hopetorture being on the same side of the bracket is meh. And Boxer has way too many zergs in his bracket. I hope he's practiced that match-up a lot. I'm cheering for random guy as well. Would be awesome if he got far.

I think Idra has a very hard road, equal to Haypro, MVP is the current #1, that has to account for something at least.
