After beating Leenock 2:1, Nada advanced to the Ro8 and has been named an S-class by some. His opponent will be the winner of Boxer vs Loner. Nada expressed a wish to work hard with Boxer together. He plans on playing an exciting game (even if Loner advances), and once again feels the passion he had in BW many years ago.
Nada
Q: Thoughts on winning? A: I was too worried. Even though I worked hard to control it, I was still too anxious when the match began. I'm happy that I still won 2:1.
Q: In game 1, you got 6 pooled. A: Very cheesy. I didn't know if my opponent would bring workers with the rush. His strategy execution was very solid. However, I knew that if I took game 2, my opponent would be more worried than me, and I would win.
Q: You played perfectly in games 2 and 3. A: The game really didn't have any outstanding points, but I was still so nervous that my heart felt like it would leap out of my chest. Because I had lost game 1, in the beginning of game 2 I kept wondering whether my opponent would 6pool again. But I felt that if I followed my game plan, I would win.
Q: You've already earned the S-Class designation. A: I'm very happy, and in the future I'll dedicate more games to the fans. I won't be satisfied with making the Ro8; I'll keep on working hard in practice.
Q: In game 2, you finally used Marauders. [T/N ty infinity21, also since when does vile chariot mean marauder] A: I didn't have a choice. In practice, I usually used marines, but I discovered that marine only didn't work too well, so I made some marauders.
Q: You might face Boxer in the Ro8. A: I'm already excited. I suppose Boxer is busy practicing, so I hope we both work hard and meet in the Ro8 for an excellent match. I'm feeling the same passion as from BW, many years ago. Of course, if Loner advances, I'll still play an interesting game.
Q: How is TvZ? A: The probability of winning isn't high. Within my team, the Zergs are all quite strong; in order to beat them, perfect preparation is a necessity, whether one prepares epic cheese or management.
Q: From the start, people have been hyped for a Boxer vs Nada match. A: Even though we are both in group C, we wouldn't have met at the beginning, so I didn't think about it too much. Right now, I feel relaxed. I hope Boxer also takes a relaxed attitude toward his games.
Q: Some people say that since Boxer is playing, Nada's strength is reduced. A: I don't think so. I don't feel that as much as others right now. When Boxer and I play, it's not simple like 1+1=2.
Q: Anything else? A: Thanks to oGs players and my practice partners on Bnet. In the future, I will keep working hard and I hope everyone cheers me on!

The s-class designation is official GSL qualification, not just a name people are throwing around. thanks for translating~

YEAH NADA~~~!
Boxer vs Nada gogo!
Tornado Terran fighting!
His games were pretty epic... though first game was pretty lame
|
It is going to be a hell of a R08 if Boxer beats Loner, it's going to interesting how South Korea will react to this.

Boxer vs Nada would be amazing.
|
Boxer beating Loner and playing Nada is so important for the success of SC2 as a major e-sport in Korea.
|
GG nada. I'm really happy with his games against leenock. It's like watching an anime, specially when he removes his jacket.

Indeed. And those oGs jackets are quite awesome.

Q: In game 2, you finally used Hellions. [T/N literally, says vile chariots] A: I didn't have a choice. In practice, I usually used marines, but I discovered that marine only didn't work too well, so I made some hellions.
This made me lol,
"Well I made it this far using only marines, but i realized it wasnt the best strategy so i decided to add in some helions" - Nada the most awesome dude to play SC

I would love to see some "epic cheese" from NaDa
NaDa vs BoxeR could be a very epic TvT series. NaDa played his last TvT in a very BW-esque manner, and if BoxeR does the same, we could be in for some long games of careful tank positioning and strategic maneuvering.

Yeh, I just checked the original Korean interview, it was Marauders they talked about, not Hellions.

ok, will fix
this is odd because the LR talks a lot about Nada using hellions
|
Two things:
1) I also love the oGs jackets. Coolest ones out there, with TL also being at the top (I have no idea why most other teams have awful ones when there are such great examples. . . .).
2) Would anyone be so kind as to explain the different classifications (with how NaDa is now called "S-Class")? I, of course, get that it's a type of ranking, but I was wondering if anyone could give a list of the ranks and say what they all mean.
|
I find it hard to believe that Nada actually said "very cheesy" considering his years in the gaming community and seeing a lot of shit like that.
Is that literally what he said?
|
I don't know who to root for between Boxer and Loner. Two of my favorite Terrans in SC2. No matter who wins, I'll be sad.
|
I think S-class is where you get invited to GSL world tourney or something of that sort.

S-class just means you are auto-qualified for the seeded GSLs that will start next year. If you get A-class you're back-up for S-class. There will be 32 S-class and 32 spots open through qualifiers.

Thank you for the rapid translations, seriously good work.
NaDa fighting ^_^

Good interview. Hopefully we get boxer vs nada!

Yeah. He loses match 1 and takes off his jacket. It was the equivalent of a *BANKAI (Or Zaraki taking off his eye-patch) !! Also tastosis do SUCH a good job of getting us PUMPED!!!! Did they mention anything bout the jacket in the interview... I thought that was a very singular occurence. Thanks for the translations. *-Bleach reference

Very cheesy.
Thanks for the interview!
|
His jacket is awesome "Old Generation".
|
yeah they need to ask "what's the significance of taking off your jacket after you lost game 1"
not sure if he did it unconsciously or he felt it was in the way.
|
Fuck the jackets. Bring back the motherfucking capes!
|
Oooo I hope it's Boxer vs NaDa.
I like Loner but he's going to be much MUCH more nervous than Boxer. Going to be good games!

Bolded line is for me as a fan the most important one. He's always bin my favourite player in BW and whenever he had a reason to win this guy would up the level. A burning- with-passion Nada could literally win against anyone through all eras of BW history.
To all users who don't know who he is, he basically had all the skills already combined in him when we didn't even know how much of a necessity it would become in BW. His handspeed was on a level that made you vomit and he could pull of one of, well if not the most multitasking heavy tactics the sk terran (many many groups of marines, medics and science vessels) with astonishing smoothness.
And you know what, even if he looses, I'm very glad to see him again in a booth having a good time.
|
Congratulations to him, I hope he will do well thought Season2! Fighting!

Totally
It seems like he's becoming SUPER SAIYAN* or something :D lol
It looked like that he's really pissed when he got super cheesed like that :D But the map allows that kind of play, so I think everyone should be prepared for that kind of strats from now on :p The only way to prevent it seems to be closing the choke right away.
* - Dragon Ball :D

Thanks for keeping the dream alive Nada!
|
cheers for the translation!
Hopefully Boxer pulls through but Loner has been looking real strong.
|
+ Show Spoiler +Are there any Korean interview of Boxer's after match lolol. What are the Koreans thinking by now omg. Boxer vs NaDa >< my heart will break at the end of the match in any case.
Forgot to spoiler
|
The guy is a born winner! I love his style of play.
Funny to get a three-way translation (Korean->Chinese->English) so some slip ups might occur (e.g. hellions vs marauders) but it's great anyways since we usually don't get a straight KR->EN translation.
Thank you!
|
Oh man its happening! Dream match *drool
|
I can't wait until the NaDa vs Boxer match, it is going to be INSANE!!!!
I seriously do not know who to cheer for.. seriously

So true.
Nada - GOAT. Boxer - Emperor.

I predict the streams will have 1 million viewers. GOM, be prepared.

Is that literally what he said? He literally said "extremely unorthodox" The korean interview says "I was very surprised"
Also, the 2nd last question goes more like: Q: There are people saying that Nada gets overshadowed by Boxer A: I definitely don't think so. If I made it just by myself, I wouldn't get this much attention. I believe that Boxer and I are having a synergy effect to get this much attention.
I feel like the Chinese interview translations are sometimes very accurate and sometimes really off like this one. Keep up the good work infinitestory.

NADA Hmm NaDa BOXER hmmm That will be pretty cool
|
When NaDa takes his jacket off, you're boned. There's no way around it.
|
Nada needs to wear a muscle shirt underneath his jacket, so that when he takes it off you know it's on.
|
still my favorite Starcraft player ever Rooting for him to take GSL2!

I really enjoy Nada interviews, he is very well spoken and respectful.
|
Nice One. Good Interview and very Nice Next match.
|
Way to go Nada, hope you win the GSL!
|
Someone needs to record the jacket moment and make a gif. And maybe photoshop some super saiyan shit.
That series was epic, I was on the edge of my seat just as much as the Desert Oasis game in the GSL S1 Finals.
|
kind of makes me sad I think nada vs boxer should be a little later in the gsl season
Still alot of other matchups I wanted to see boxer and nada play.
