Possibly strict parents that are brought up in such a way that it's unacceptable in their eyes that he's "abandonded" is gf temprorarily. There could be other factors involved. The GF/family could be broke and needs Nony to work a job to help support the family.

I admit that I respect IdrA more as time goes by and he is able to continually survive in a foreign country despite his rigorous practice schedule. No doubt he is quite a strong person and you have to respect him for being in korea for about a year now.

rek has a point here, idra doesn't really have anything to do in america except college at that polytech place, so if i were him, i'd rather stay in korea doing something i enjoy rather than study.
