Best rap album ever? Illmatic by Nas, still gives me chills after listening to it for years. The production value created by DJ premier (best rap producer ever), Large Professor, and Q-Tip only makes it that much better. I wanted some new rap music in my collection,so I went through a few music websites for recommendations, and the artist "Shabazz Palaces" was highly praised, so I gave it a shot. It turned out to be absolute shit, and that's when I decided to give up on new rap/hip hop music. On another note, my friend's sister used to chill with Earl Sweatshirt, a member of the OFWGKTA, one of the last decent hip hop groups out.

I mean i've listened to it since they first dropped (no hipster shit), but every release has disappointed me. The Long March was pretty good, Bayani was worthwhile and after that I've not even listened to the songs more than once. I still love the debut tho album and listen to it every other week or so. Its simply one of the best hip hop albums of all time in my book. Also: Also Edit: The Wu meets Indiculture album is also great.
