pretty much anything from lauryn's unplugged session, or anything from her period. and listen to jay-z de'vils Now I don't want this to turn into a big discussion about how crazy I am for believing in such a thing(which i dont fully believe yet or understand), or even how this might be true in a sense, i'm just posting it for the sake of knowledge and content. While I don't know much about this ''illuminati'' - ''occult'' crap; I have become more aware of this stuff the older i get; and I do believe artists have the power to transform themselves into something that is no longer pure in essence to who they truly are inside. And the longer I live the more the pieces start fitting together; not that they are actually in some sort unknown group or movement; but that artist can sell there souls...if you don't think that' true in some sort of way your in denial or naive to the bigger picture.

His sound is really unique. The closest comparison I can come up with is Andre 3000. And he's almost up to par lyrically with him as well. Memorable hooks, incredible melodies (jazz + funk + electronic) + introspectiveness + musical dexterity (Can any other rapper blend in as seemlessly with TI as with Weezer or Hayley Williams?). He will be one of the greats. Fucker is only 21 too.

Basically anything on this album is amazing. Once upon a time, I thought hip-hop was an inferior form of music. I was wrong. These guys showed me the light.

It's hard to even start this conversation. I don't argue the existence of these secret societies (I've been to the Masonic lodge in Tampa) or their odd connection with the Occult. I don't even and argue that some like the Skull and Bones Society, Bilderberg, or Bohemian Grove seem to have some considerable power. But to use rap artists as pawns? People who try to make connections like that are the reason why these things are considered conspiracy theories. The Roc symbol is more akin to a diamond or even crack rock than a pyramid. If you want to go down this road look up the "corna" or the sign of the horns that permeates metal/rock music. There is no doubt that there are Occult symbols everywhere but they really don't mean anything by themselves. Why they are everywhere is important. But this is the wrong time wrong thread... There is so little dialogue in this thread. Everyone should listen to what Meth posted- all classic. Thanks for reminding me of Cella Dwellas, they are just "The Dwellas" now I think. I'd like to see some more new music in this thread because good new hip hop is hard to come by. B.O.B is ok, I guess- he seems to be selling out pretty quickly. Thought he was Bobby Ray now or something anyway... Lol at the still from the Eminem Infinite Video, only he could spit that shit. Heres my contribution, both relatively recent. edit: lol i'm typing my diatribes and a conversation finally broke out- about bob no less
