http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=4705151&page=1 i hope they're right. it was so annoying seeing cable news directing %100 of their attention and hours of air time to chewing at the "clinton as VP" bone. edit: stealth beat me to the punch ![]()

now that her as VP has been hypeeeeeeeed her supporters are frothing at the mouth for that to be accomplished and if obama doesn't pick her then her supporters will be so angry they will not vote for him no matter what. clinton's are trying to sabotage obama. she better make a really nice concession speech this weekend to hammer the VP idea out of her supporters minds =/

i think her goal is to instill a VP expectation in her supporters so that when obama inevitably denies her the VP slot then her supporters will cry scandal. all with the purpose of weakening obama through a method that makes her seem innocent. she knows she won't get VP she just wants to see him fail (both because she's friends with mccain and because she can then run in 2012) reason i speculate so much is because i've learned that the clinton's are the kings of head fakes (and triangulation etc.)

Clinton campaign statement released today: Senator Clinton will be hosting an event in Washington, DC to thank her supporters and express her support for Senator Obama and party unity. This event will be held on Saturday to accommodate more of Senator Clinton's supporters who want to attend. my mind is put to ease by this a bit. now hopefully clinton surrogates & the media will chill out on this whole clinton as VP thing. it's ok to discuss it a bit but this morning it was disgusting how obsessive they were on the topic
