I sometimes play card games or chess really late at night when i can't or don't want to sleep, and there was this girl with the nickname AllThingsDutch. I asked her if she was Dutch, and she said 50% Dutch, 25% American & 25 % Swiss. She also said she was coming to the Netherlands on vacation next week.
We chatted for a while (Like 30 minutes, and only once :D), and I gave her my phone number to call for when she'd be in Holland, and said, well if you wanna do something just call..
I didn't expect her to call, but she called a few times, we talked over the phone, and then yesterday we actually met. I was a bit nervous, and thinking to myself.. omg i can't believe I'm doing this :D
We first went to her mom and grandma cause they wanted to see me (I wouldn't send my daughter with a stranger either) and on to the beach we went, and it was a fucking awesome day. We talked like 7 hours straight, and did a lot of stuff. Afterwards she called me and said that she had a great time, and she hinted towards another meeting.
This is so.. not like me, but it turned out good. NO RISK NO FUN!

well I like her and stuff, shes really nice, but not 'like like' her, only met her once. We walked along the beach for ages, and did some stuff together, during that we kept talking forever. And I'm old fashioned, I bought stuff for her, would carry her bag, etc.. It wasn't to get laid or anything, it was more just for a fun day. And no, I'm not gay, just perfect. :O)

When I was 24 I went for 3 months to Victoria, BC, Canada, for a training in climate modeling. I was a single in France, for quite a long time, and determined to use my French/foreigner aura to meet girls... (not quite Marshall style tho )
Well canadian girls were out of reach. Not that I don't like canadians, it is just than a foreigner usually makes friend with foreigners, it would be the same if you come to France... I went out a week with a korean (didn't dare ask her about SC ) and a columbian, but nothing I'm really proud of.
Then I met Etsuko, a japanese girl visiting my house because she was looking for a room to rent, and the second room were I rented mine was available. Well thing went quickly, and after a month together it was time for me to head back to France...  I had no choice about that, and to stay at least to more years in France to finish my studies.
Well I really had a good feeling with Etsuko, and knew our relationship had a chance on the long run. So I asked her if she wanted to foolow me in France. She did.
She finished her English semester in Victoria and joined me a month and a half later. Here's the picture: a japanese girl, speaking ok english and not a word of french, taking the plane to Paris where she doesn't know anybody except a guy (me) who said will be waiting for her a the airport...
That was the summer 2 years ago. We are getting married in 2 weeks.
GO GO GO Beyonder!!!!! Give her a chance, move to the USA or something... if it doesn't work out with her at least you will have learned some english and visited the country.
OK actually it's our second weeding, we are technicaly married since december, but it was just a civilian wadding. Here parents weren't even there. This time it is teh party.

thats an awesome story benny, and hmmm, she likes me I know that, and vica versa, but I cant move to the USA.. I have school to finish, my mom would die without me, and everything.. But Ill certainly keep contact and hopefully meet her again, if we're still as close next summer, or perhaps earlier, we'll meet up again. She wants to go through entire Europe, and I'm gonna do that with my sister & her boyfriend, so she's free to tag along ->
