Demo is the name of a game within the mafia game that ignores it. They don't know if they're legit or demo (same goes for legits) and the votes of those who receive this role will not count, and they don't impact the win condition of non-demo players, however they will absorb power role night actions, eat rope or bite bullets - causing them to be removed from both levels of play.
At this time I have no a vague pretty solid idea what the win conditions and mechanics of the demo game consist of but they will be flavor dependent. The demos will be rewarded for participating and mimicking real players somehow by acting roleplayish, and real players will strategically profit from camouflaging themselves as demos by speaking their language.

The surface level of a secret quicktopic off-site chatroom dungeon constellation will be provided to all players, replacements and obversers, and you'll need to register an account to access it. The goal of the demo game is to find the authentic form of the incantation trinity, specific to their style of speaking, which saves them from death by rope, bullet and endgame purge. Players will be assigned colors in secret, and can request supremacy over specific rows (legit & demo during daytime, scripter during nights) and columns (vice-versa) once per hour in exchange for a ßkoin, in real time (open image in paint to see coordinates clearly); I will update the canvas as fast as I am able.
Scripters accumulate 4 pixel lines automatically and they can be pasted on the canvas in bulk. Dead people can request to erase a 3x3px quadrant (superimposed) during day-night twilight and 1px per dawn twilight, to fuck with the living and the host.
If you gain supremacy over a 10x10px territory superimposing both levels by the end of the night, a drawing of your choosing on the fixed /r/place canvas will be placed there permanently. Acquire 3 such images and you ascend regardless.
