So u have 4 numbers 5 5 5 1 and they have to equal to 24. U can only use + - x / and u can only use the number once and u must use all of them. I dont know the answer, i tried for like 30 mins and i was just wondering if anyone could find it here.

I had something like this in 6th grade called the 4 fours. You had to make 4 4s equal to all sorts of things.

I dont think it's possible.

First of all, multiples / divisons / addition / subtraction of 5's will only end in a 5 or 0. This means that the 1 must be used in order to subtract the final after using the three 5's. You canoot multiply or divide the 1 among the 5's because that will only result in the same thing. Maybe I'm not looking at all possible scenarios...

well technically 5/5 = 1

but then you have 1, 1, and 5 which is impossible but you can do it other ways i think...

edit: or you can do it like him ^

actually he didn't even say if we can use parentheses
