Too late, T_T.
I totally blanked on the fact that you're around and didn't really make time for it.
I'll be back again in the next few months at some point for interviews, we'll do something then.

The Dragontooth Dagger (sorry for the delay)
Description: A curved ivory tooth attached to an ornately-wrought steel pommel and handle. The tooth, though smooth, is impressively sharp, having been pulled from the mouth of a live dragon. Ferocious and malleable, it is capable of absorbing and storing the powers of the Quintessences within, allowing the user to draw from its power.
Effects: 1d4, light, finesse. At any time, the damage type of the dagger’s attack or of any of the wielder’s cantrips can be changed to an element absorbed by the Dragontooth Dagger. To absorb an element, the wielder must hit special enemies (as determined by the DM) comprised of that element with the dagger, allowing it to siphon the energy into itself.
Currently absorbed elements: Fire

Ah interesting. That has potential usefulness against stuff that I wouldn't otherwise be able to hurt I guess. I have to hit enemies with it though? I can't just get party members to shoot stuff at it?

There are certain enemies that will allow you to permanently steal other elements if you stab them. You currently have only Fire (because the tooth was a Red Dragon tooth).
Unless you mean for normal damage, in which case I suggest you reread the part about cantrips.

Yeah, that's the drawback.
It's not a big drawback.

You just gotta sidetrack the party into tracking the right enemies, then convince one of the close and personal dudes to hit them with the dagger. Easy!

I happen to know a certain Bard with an affinity for valuables

So not only did I have no time to prepare a session with all the moving I was doing this weekend, I also managed to lose all of my D&D books and dice. Luckily I have all my campaign notes, but I'm not really prepared to run a session this week.
I'm afraid I'll have to cancel this week, but I should be good for 9/1.

I understand that moving pain dude.
How did you lose your stuff? Like, they're gone lost or just buried in some shit and you haven't unpacked yet?

So we've fully cleaned the old place and the new space doesn't have a ton of place to hide things. I might still find them, but it's unlikely.
My best guess as to what went down is this: we bring all our boxes down to the garage to load in our cars. Somehow that one box goes completely unnoticed behind a pole or something. We leave it behind and someone either chucks it in the trash or takes it for themselves.
Other theories involve increasingly unlikely theft scenarios, especially considering the cargo (worth a lot to me, probably not so much to someone else). There's also the possibility that we left them outside and our neighbors came out, thought we were gone, and brought it into their house for safekeeping, but I'm pretty sure we've seen them since and I imagine they'd have mentioned something. Who knows.
Blech, it sucks, but the contents of said box are 90% replaceable (if expensive). I did lose some old journals, but they're in Japanese anyways and I don't think I could still read them.
Edit: Oh and the other issue with tomorrow is that I don't have my PC internet ready yet. I should probably be good tonight, but on the off chance I don't have enough cable then I wouldn't be able to contact y'all anyways.

So...can we do something tomorrow night instead? I dunno it's been pretty awful doing nothing and feeling like balls all week and I've been looking forward to this.

Sorry, I never caught your edit.
What would you like to do? I've got D3 and SC and HS and LoL and DotA. We could hang out in a stream (I could do Baldur's Gate or Dark Souls or whatever). I'd be willing to pick up Rocket League or whatever else if others are willing. What do you think?
|
we can do LoL (with significantly less ping! even if i still have verizon so I'm getting suboptimal ping for another few weeks) or Doto?

I could do either or anything else but I have been looking for a chance to Doto
