A lot of it is inspiration and finding the proper pose/colors since retro-style sprites of that size can only go into so much detail. It's kinda like the reskins they've been doing for LoL - sure, you can try to cram in a million details into a few pixels, but often you just make it look worse and garbled as a result. In terms of your sprite Wave I actually spent more time on it than on Roger's simply because I started out in a direction that ended up not being, well, very Amak'thos. And Roger took more time than the other 3 simply because I was still figuring out what I wanted to do. There's still a single revision available for each sprite. If there are any particular changes any of you would like to see than talk to Asmo, and if he fine with it, you can talk to me. I can't work miracles but I'll meet any request as best I can. However you will not see changes on stream for another two weeks since I'm leaving for Tennessee tomorrow. Also, all you guys should really thank Asmo for supporting this and making it possible. | ||
