Watching the one shot now. i ended up falling asleep.
EDIT:
NOTES:
Asmo, take the mic away from your face a little bit, you are going to be doing a lot of narrating and having the mic pop from P's and S's can be a little distracting. you don't need to invest in a pop filter and free standing mic if you can move the headset mic a little bit up or down or something, usually that will help a lot, though you may need to rebalance your volume.
Dandel Ion was pretty quiet the whole time he has a naturally quiet voice but maybe turn him up on your end.
Gahlo's webcam looks exactly like an indie band album cover the whole time.
Soniv looks like he has a small moon orbiting his head the whole time, dat headset.
EDIT2 taking a break from listening will continue notes in an hour or so.

My downlink is having a bad day so I only watched the first few minutes (cast detect magic in first town), but from them:
Warm your voice and articulation up. Goes for all players. One thing I like to do before I have to talk is going through the alphabet. Sound silly, but gives you a taste of each letter and distinguishes the similar ones.
-A bit too flowery descriptions sometimes. More like when describing the town. -Unclear player interactions - Are they a Team from before recruitment, or individual folks recruited to guard the caravan who all have their set of goals?

For the purposes of the one shots, we were just thrown together as a team already with a purpose (escorting the caravan) so that we could get things moving.
I thought the descriptions were fairly good. I had a pretty good sense of setting and where things were, and any questioned were generally clarified easily.
For Asmo - I would suggest doing rolls to hit secretly a along with damage and stuff. At level 1 it probably doesn't matter too much, but knowing hit modifiers does give the players more info than they need or should probably have.

I had to down my volume because the mic was shitting out background noise otherwise i wasn't on my own pc so this was the best i could do i also cant talk louder or I'll wake people up lel

Ok let's see, some stuff:
Overall pretty entertaining. Perhaps some improvement could be made in the name of entertainment for the viewer, though I suppose technically these one-shots (and the main game in general) aren't really for the purposes of entertaining others outside the game, just a happy extra.
- Very little actual RP going on from the players ( I think Soniv was maybe the best in that regard from what I watched? Though Dandel made me audibly laugh at one point). I know I personally plan to be as entertaining (to myself and others hopefully) as I can. I know the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and we're all friends and especially as the night drags on there is more joking around and less taking stuff seriously, but this IS a RP game. Get out of your comfort zones a little bit, guys. Req you were so calculating in everything you did as you protected everyone...where was the 'GET BEHIND MEHHHH!!'
-Sound quality I found wasn't too bad aside from that soft high-pitched horror emanating from Dandel's mic.
- Visually I agree with what's been said so far, though I suppose this also fits into the category of how much effort do you want to put in to make things better for the viewer rather than the player? I don't think it would take much to set up a separate OBS source so you can fade to the map while you're talking so the viewers can see whatever the players see. Also agree with some sort of stat sheet/name thingy. Obviously I wouldn't expect anything fancy or any overlay but a little does go a long way in that regard.
- Excellent DM-ing from Asmo especially for someone who (as I understand) isn't unbelievably experienced as such. You really set the mood well and describe things perfectly, though I would add that while you are describing/storytelling you tend to hesitate/pause/drag things on quite a bit in your speech (as it can often be harder to think things up like this on the fly, I understand). Maybe cut down just a little on the detail in that case so as to speed things up just a little bit if you find it's taking you a while to verbally spit all that stuff out? (again, could just be things from a viewer standpoint, but I did find myself saying, 'ok I get it, let's move on' already. I could also just be impatient and play the game the same way lol)
Bonus points for Skeleton and thunder sound effects, lulz
I think those were some first impressions, take everything I said with a grain of salt, as none of what I said is absolutely necessary. If I think up anything else I'll add it.

I'm interested to see the play from team beta, because it's easy to say you're gonna play one way, but whether or not you'll do it remains to be seen =P Figuring out how a character plays is always going to take a little time. With the way the one shots work, there really is no real "warm up", we were just thrown into the middle of things. I asked if we should intro ourselves, but for the purposes of play momentum, we just played as if we were already familiar with each other.
Personally, I don't have that much roleplaying experience at all, so I'm still figuring things out. There ends up being a difference in thought processes between your wealth of knowledge as a player vs your characters knowledge in the world. And, again, I'm interested to see how team beta plays (you especially, Wave, cuz I know you have no prior experience). Until people are comfortable with who there characters are and what they would do/say/think in certain situations, things may feel a bit choppy from a viewer perspective.
As for visuals, I know you're picturing something similar to what JP has for Rollplay. And while that is a really great visual, he is not the DM, and thus doesn't have that much to keep track of, which makes switching screens in a timely fashion simple. As a DM (speaking from some experience) there is SO much to keep track of and flip back and forth between. Keeping the game running smoothly > worrying about whether or not viewers have the "proper" visuals.

A bunch of what you've said falls under the blanket of 'improvements for viewer's sake and therefore not necessary.' As for the 'I wanna see how YOU play' I've definitely taken that stuff into account, and I will put up or shut up for sure. I'm not saying I expected all these things from everybody in terms of RP/visuals/whatever, but Asmo was looking for critique/feedback/improvements so I give them. Whether it's easy or it's hard to do has no bearing as to whether or not I think those things would improve the game

I kind of expected soniv just to immediately die after he tried to do psychic damage to a skeleton (who would have no thoughts and thus be immune), but i guess they were special skeletons.

I will quickly say regarding the visuals that I will be improving them somehow, as the layout I threw together in the two hours before the show is DEFINITELY not ideal.

The spell didn't specifically state that Undead are immune, so unless their stat block says psychic immunity, I was in the clear (whether or not Asmo messed that up, idk).

Haha fair. Even as the session went on, I started to get more comfortable with my character. One shot part 2 should be fun.

I still think it's slightly bullshit that you guys get a 2-parter one shot and we don't get to go for at LEAST another week. Who knows when the actual game starts at this rate.

Blame your scrub teammates then! Seriously though, just be patient. It's not abnormal for sessions to get pushed back for a week or two due to player availability. Trying to synchronize 6 people for 3+ hours can be really difficult. I won't be surprised if you guys end up having two sessions as well. Things always take longer than expected.

.
Well Undead in the DnD sense (not necessarily in Asmo's world, as it could be dramatically different), have a bunch of forms. like a lich would have free will and its own thoughts, so would likely not be immune to psychic damage, but a skeleton raised as a slave to a necromancer or evil deity, or naturally formed undead because of some long forgotten tainted land or whatever, is likely to be mindless and potentially immune. a vampire would also likely be vulnerable to psychic damage, but a zombie would not. so it wouldn't be specifically undead, but more so mindless undead. that kind of stuff.

Oh, I don't disagree. But I had my back to a cave wall with this fucker clawing at my face, I had to try something. And, my character presumably never having fought undead before, I don't think I would change my decision. All I know is I can whisper shit and scare someone away from me. Seemed like a fairly reasonable reaction to getting cornered. I half expected to die there myself lol.
Even though my AC is 15, Asmo was just rolling too well against me

i mean its also easily explained as 'the skeletons were raised with the capacity to think, therefore psychic damage works. the end.'
I'm not saying "oh asmo did it wrong" or something. just that 'oh it was interesting that these skeletons have thoughts of their own. that says a lot of cool stuff about the situation you guys are in.'
EDIT: yeah i'm not saying you made a bad choice (from a person playing a PC point of view), but i totally expected the spell to fizzle and Roger to be left defenseless.
